Denver has historically been a very UDFA-friendly franchise.

Lucas Reed is Brooks (Texans) brother.
Aaron Hester is Devin's cousin.

Sounds like McDuffie could compete w/ Holliday for the PR/KR job. Had 6 career kickoff return TDs. One of the fastest guys in the country.

McCray, Rippy and Kaveinga could compete for a backup OLB spot behind Miller and Woodyard, and with Trevathan. Not sure if any can play MLB.

So, no MLB's in the draft, nor in CFA? Boy, that is curious, to say the least.

I don't think it's curious. Think about it this way. A MLB is only playing on about 35% of the snaps now. We play Nickel a lot, basically our base D. Who are you going to pull off the field at LB? I can't think of a single player in this draft that would play in the Nickel in front of Von or Woodyard. Just not enough opportunity to invest heavily on MLB. You can get by with guys like Irving and Bradley bc you only have them on the field a small percentage of the time.

Rippy has played some MLB, so there is a possibility of making the PS.

A guy to watch could be McDuffie. He is a smallish WR, but great speed and like a handful of kickoff returns for touchdowns.

Hester could be moved to a FS spot.

Lucas Reed could challenge Julius Thomas for the last TE spot.

Lamaar Thomas was an Ohio St. recruit before transferring.

McCray played both DE and OLB, he's basically a tweener.

bloodlines seem to be a factor in a player being a pretty good one....howie Long's sons, Clay Mathews son, etc...just to name a few.

Broncos just signed another UDFA, Romney Fuga, a DT from BYU. He's like 6'1, 320lbs.
