Perfect pick to kick Caldwell or Willis off the team. King is better and cheaper with more upside. Exactly what this team needed (cap savings $), mass-producer.

King will likely play ST's, which is not something Caldwell did much of, it at all, so I'd say Caldwell is likely gone.

King could be a player to step in for Decker in 2014, if Eric signs elsewhere.

Very talented player who underproduced. Nice value. He could develop into a very dangerous deep threat.

Thomas,Decker,Welker is a nice 3 top guys. then you let Robinson,Willis,Caldwell,King & etc duke it out for the last 2-3 spots.

I don't know why but, this guy just excites me. No homo. I really see a good number two WR with him.

I agree. Love the way he plays the deep ball, and he's good in the Red Zone too, from what I've seen. Great value pick with an eye to the future.

This was a good pick
I watched King quite a bit
Lengthy and skinny but the guy can get downfield in a hurry
Also has really good awareness and is able to adjust his body to make the catch when it isnt on target
Drops passes from time to time, but overall it was a good value pick

I think he will take Willis' spot
Not sure if he can play ST but I imagine they will ask to him for right now

Well, then he will fit right in filling-in for DT or Decker.

Actually, he seems to me to be a back up to DT more so than to Decker because of his deep speed and apparent limited route experience.

That's probably the key right there. King was on the radio, said he'll be a good gunner on ST's, can return punts if needed, will do whatever necessary. And yeah, he can catch and run routes. This was supposed to be a real deep WR class, so a 5th rounder that can upgrade Matt Willis is a good deal. Willis was a good Bronco, but needed an upgrade there and Bubba Caldwell wasn't getting it done.

We drafted a couple guys that hopefully will lead to dumping a couple of guys that I absolutely cannot stand.....

Montee should signal goodbye, long overdue, to Lance

Tavarres should signal goodbye to Willis - also long overdue...actually, should never have been.

Where is our Joe Mays replacement? Guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.....

Where do you get the "Iffy hands" from He happens to have exceptional hands....that's a big reason he kept getting nominated for the Belintnakoff award.

The kid should have been off the board in the 2nd or 3rd. He was a great draft pick where we got him. Exactly what we need when we go to a 4 receiver set.

As Elway said, " We were very pleased, the draft just fell to us "

I wanted one of 4 WR's in the middle rounds:

Aaron Dobson
Markus Wheaton
Chris Harper
Tavarres King

These guys had subpar offenses and QB's tossing them ball in College, but stood out on tape.

For King: He is smart as hell and one of the most refined route runners in this draft if not the best. He gets seperation naturally, and that will be a huge bonus at the next level. His tape is great, and his senior bowl practices were shockingly good. He has the tremendous potential to be a minimum #2 WR in the NFL and DEN just added him to Manning and its already deadly WR corp.

This is my Favorite pick by far from this draft, however Williams and Ball are going to be the most productive this year. King can just train, work with Manning AND Osweiler running the scout squad, and learn the NFL game this year. And, if we have an injury to WR, he would be able to come in immediately and get seperation at the next level IMHO. Something even most elite College WR's struggle to do in their first year.

How much is Decker worth on the FA Market? Link below are the FA WR's next year. Jordy Nelson signed a $14 million/4 year deal in 2011.

Is Matthew Willis gone for good? He's not under contract.
