Default Aaron Rodgers now highest paid player

In nfl history.

Peter King ‏ @ SI_PeterKing 32s
MT @ RapSheet: Aaron Rodgers new contract: $40M in the first year (wow). Over $62M in the first three years ... Good work, Ian.

"Thanks Flacco. Yours truly, Aaron Rodgers."

Here's the thing though. He'll be expensive to start and then cheap after that, which will allow them to fill the team with talent. Imagine if we gave Peyton $5 mill more this year and $5 mill less next. Changes things.

Good for him. Glad to see he's making more than Joe Flacco.

I would like to also mention the Chiefs suck.

Edit: thanks Rahim!

Without Rahim, Flacco doesn't get paid and Rodgers deal is smaller
