Default 2013 NFL schedule - Release delayed

Well the day is finally here! I apologize if this is a duplicate thread, didn't see any in the first few pages.

Lots of, what should be, for sure prime time games. NFL.com has three in particular on it's list of 13 must see games in 2013, and all three are in the top 5.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...top-2013-slate

I think for sure the Manning bowl, the Colts game, Ravens rematch are all prime time. The Patriots game I'd think should be, but they never seem to play them in prime time, even last year with the return of Manning. I think we'll also get one on TNF for a divisional game and then one that we wouldn't expect (like ATL last year).

That puts my guess at 5.

we can only hope...believe me I wish it is today

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...e-release-date

"The schedule is not finalized, and no release date has been determined," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in a statement to NFL.com's Around The League on Monday. If you're looking for a best guess as to the schedule's release, April 23 would be it.

It's a shame. The schedule release could have been a needed distraction from yesterday's events...

I figure it can only be

1. Manning vs Manning
2. Rematch vs Ravens

Week 1

How can a schedule release be delayed when it was never "planned" in the first place

That is pretty much a given. Since the road teams in the NFL determine which station a game is on.....Detroit and Dallas host an AFC and an NFC team, so that both Fox and CBS get a game on T-day.

Also, I believe they alternate each year......and Dallas hosts the AFC team this year on T-day, because Detroit did last year (New England). Furthermore, Dallas only hosts 2 AFC teams all year.....Denver and Oakland.

Which one do you think will be on T-day? I'll give you a hint.....it's not going to be Oakland.

I love how they didn't put Denver Houston on the list....simply because they didn't want to have nothing but Denver games on the list!!! :-)))

Luv it!

I could see that as likely if not more than in Dallas.

I'll take week two and a 4:25est time game, thought for sure it was going to be a Thursday, Sunday, on Monday night game, and because it's week 2, no flex

It will be fun lying in the Lazy Boy in a turkey induced slumber while the Cowboys boot the Raiders in their silver and black nuts in Jerry World.
