Pro wrestling has scripted outcomes and choreographed action parts but it's basis is steeped in amateur mat wrestling.

There's no way in hell that Canadian Destroyer move can be done without both parties working to make happen.

For sure! They are (some) great athletes and well prepared. I used to watch a lot of WWF when I was a kid. Then I learned that the outcome was established prior to the fight and that most of it was choreographed and lost all interest. Still... the Undertaker and the dude with the Crow (the movie) makeup where my favorite wrestlers. Can't believe the Taker is still going at it.

*Talking about wrestling, cant believe the dumb ****s of the Olympic committee got rid of the sport from the event.

I thought both moves really were not all that fabulous - this thread fails.

My favorite part of this thread is the discussion of pro wrestling being staged/faked/choreographed. Because there's really some doubt for anyone who's older than 12. (It's real)

lol Sting(the dude with the crow make up) is still going at it as well.
Both he and Taker are rich as **** from real estate, they don't actually have to wrestle anymore and haven't for years, they just love the sport.

Amateur wrestling has almost no interest fan wise in most cases.
it's boring to most. it's akin to curling for a lot of people.
Plus in most cases there is no career in it outside of the olympics unless you open your own school to teach it.

Oh but the Olympic Committee has decided this is not worth their time. What a joke of an organization.
