Default OT: New CO Gun Laws Signed Into Law

http://news.yahoo.com/landmark-gun-b...155246049.html

Net: background checks must be performed for private and online sales, and high-capacity clips are now banned. This comes on the heels of the CO Dept. of Corrections Chief being killed in his home.

Good to know that mass shootings are a thing of the past in CO.

These new laws will make the criminals think twice before breaking them.

That Marxist Kenyan bastich in the WH is behind this. First, they take our magazines, then they make us sit around and discuss our feelings. It's a slippery slope, goddamn it!

Larimer County Sheriff (among others) has said he will not enforce the new laws.

I really don't understand the hysteria. I had no problem picking up my .22 semi-automatic and .32 ACP.

And any economist can tell you that scarcity has it's tradeoffs. Making it harder to get guns - if enforced correctly - will make it harder for criminals to get guns. The problem is it makes illegal arms trading that much more profitable. I couldn't care less either way.

Good thing I stocked up on 30 round mags when this law first was being discussed in February.

I hope some more pro 2a corporations like magpul, and outdoor channel give this state the high hard one and leave just to prove a point.

What about people who already have the 30 round clips? Do they have to turn them in?

thanks to this law the company Magpul, which produces magazines, has left the state of Colorado. So now CO has less jobs and less tax money coming in.

I grew up in CO and I know things like Columbine have helped make this law possible. Also, the influx of liberals form CA and coastal states like NY, etc. have helped with this law. We shall see if it stops any mass shootings.

The good news is cheeba is legal! So perhaps the lost tax revenue and jobs will be filled with this new industry?? Yes, I like to look at it as the glass half full, or the bong, or whatever works.

How dense are you ?

Why don't we start selling to children and anyone wanting one regardless of criminal record at convenience stores ?

Would that make you happy ?

I suppose your one who believes you should be able to carry round a rocket launcher as well.
