@Adam Schefter: Broncos have offer out to Elvis Dumervil. But looking at Dwight Freeney and John Abraham in event they cannot bring back Dumervil.

Elvis Dumervil underwhelmed by Broncos' latest three-year offer, according to two sources. He's planning to visit teams in next 48 hours.

MT @MikeKlis: #Broncos must have got the same message from Dumervil camp, they're prepared to move on with Dwight Freeney or John Abraham

Panic over losing a guy who is worth $6-$7 million a year and wants $9-$10 million? No way. We won't miss him, that's my prediction

I'm cool with either Freeney or Abraham at this point.

Would like to have Doom back, but I can live with Ayers starting with Abraham or Freeney as the pass rush specialist for likely a fraction of the cost. I don't think that would be a huge downgrade.

Like most FA's this offseason Doom is about to find out that the market for his services is not remotely as robust as he thinks it is. If anybody beats Denver's offer it probably won't be by much. That and he'll probably end up in a worse situation (as in a team that can't contend to the extent Denver probably will, and/or a team without a Von Miller taking some of the offense's attention away).

Freeney welcome to Denver. Personally, Ayers would have probably done just fine but welcome nonetheless

I'm also good with freeney or Abraham.

Doom can kick rocks cause obviously in 2010 when he told us "it's not about the money" was a flat out lie.

That would be nice. I don't feel great about the chances of either playing 16+ games this year...

Sign Abraham and use what's left to sign Reed to a back-loaded contract...I can dream right?

Freeney has more life left than Abraham, but either way, at this point I'd rather have someone who wants to be here than someone who doesn't know how to let his fingers do the walking.

Because he whines a lot and isn't a pass rush specialist.

How do you figure? Abraham had 10 sacks last season (1 fewer than Doom) and 9.5 (same as Doom) the season before. Freeney had 5 sacks last season and 8.5 the season before.

Patriots brought both of these guys in... any idea why they didn't sign either one? Kinda has an "other mans trash" feel.
