That deal was pretty good. Just how the market is. Especially when a team is paying for a great QB. Ravens just showed that by dumping Players. If Vikings had a great QB on their books what's the percentage they ask Allen to restructure his?

I'm all for re-signing Dumervil and that's my first preference, but he needs to **** or get off the pot relatively quickly with this decision, so Denver can move forward with him or go ahead and try and make a deal for one of the other pass rushers like Abraham, Freeney, or Umenyiora.

^ I'm not surprised since I didn't expect the Ravens to "overpay". But I wonder how they know this? I also wonder whether or not Doom will go back to the Ravens. I hope it's a take it or leave it offer from the Broncos. He's said all along he wants to stay with the Broncos, they made the better offer, it should be done.

#Broncos RT @Jeff_Legwold: And more Elway; "We'd like it to be Elvis, but we also have to prepare ourselves if it's not Elvis.''

I think the the Vikings had a younger better pass rusher then Allen that would be a no-brainer.

Clearly there is an opportunity for FedEx/Kinkos to monetize this. Sponsor a live press conference / contract signing.

Then, get sign Elvis as a pitch man.

Hopefully he's not gonna put it in an envelope and stick it in a mailbox. That's primitive and not very Eco friendly

Condon I'm sure has a fax machine that doesn't require a crank and pedal to start it.

On Dumervil, I'm told team has been working to find creative way to make a contract offer that would pay him similar to pre-fax agreement. Big concern, at this point, remains whether Dumervil can put the rift that has occurred in wake of #WTFax behind him. My guess? He does.

Far superior supporting casts? Dallas? Minnesota maybe but Allen had his best year when one of the better "supporting casts" was out. I don't give a **** what position it is, if a player is going to be making the second most money on the team he damn well better be the second best player on the team. And Doom was not.

I had no idea Doom's contract was that outrageous until a few days before FA. I immediately said Elway should restructure that puppy and that was not even knowing how much cap room we would need to sign who we wanted. It was ridiculous. I don't see our ability to get to the SB affected by losing him. If we re sign him great, if we don't, hell we've got a SB to win and we will.

It will be hilarious if Dumervil comes back at a really great price. Instead of getting 30 million bucks. . . like 25 for 3 years. LoooooooooooL.

Yes he was. Other than Champ, who was better than Doom in 2009? No One.
