Default Can Osweiler be our Jeff Hostetler if we need him?

With this team being so good and so stacked and considering Manning's age and what not can we count on Brock to step up in the very, very, very unfortunate scenario where Manning goes down?

He seems pretty green to me and if we have all this cap space and Pat's basically opened up the coffers would it be wise to sign a veteran? It looks like were gearing up for a 2 yr run so just wondering what everyone knows.

No. We should trade him for 3 firsts while he still has some value.

Well Denvers defense strapped Tebow and the offense on their back in 2011 to take this team as far as Manning did. I wouldnt say "screwed".

Have you looked at the depth chart recently?

And based around the ability and intelligence of Manning. Remove Manning. Roster looks alot different.

OMG! Here's a better analogy. "Can hehe our Bubby Brister?" If Manning should go down can he not strip the gears and keep this Porsche on the road? I can only hope. Then after that season we trade him for 3 1st round picks.

I think Denver is fielding offers for Manning after reading this. Who needs Manning when Tebow or Osweiler are here or available.

What do you think we could get for Manning in trade

Bull**** bro

Tebow has his faults for sure but to credit that playoff run solely to the defense is wrong. They didn't have the game winning drives. They also got their asses beat down in some losses (Detroit)

Honestly though osweiler is prob the best option given his familiarity with the system/playmakers. May be green, but given how well going QBs have performed in the NFL recently there is hope

We were 25th in scoring in 2011 and Tebow had like 5 unbelievable, off the wall comebacks that season. So just stfu! The D was the key

I hope we never find out. When Manning retires we'll find out what the kid has. Until then I'd rather only see him hand it off in garbage time.

If Manning goes down the season is over. Might as well see what Twilight brings to the table. If he's the future, better to find out now if he has a chance at running an NFL offense.

Mallet is probably closer to Bledsoe. Osweiler's pretty mobile for 6'7" or however tall he is.

yep, and until he proves something, it's very fitting IMHO. You don't actually think this nickname was coined for flattery reasons, do you?

Definitely need to see more of him, but yeah, Bledsoe was not mobile.

Hell, maybe Fox would be a better HC playing from the underdog role. Was Fox one of the coaches on that NYG team?
