The Broncos are goign to be so good on both sides of the ball, so balanced, its hard to find a weakness in their game... I think the Chiefs will be the thoughest of the games, but lets be honest here, the Broncos are the class ofthe West and probably the Conference...

I agree that the Chiefs have a great running back. But had it last year (granted also had a coach that was a moron), and didn't amount to much.

Guess if you're in the camp that Romeo Crennel and Matt Cassel were the sole reasons why KC was as bad as they were... that getting a good coach and good QB will fix most of their problems, then I guess you could see the team improving drastically. They've made some good moves, but I still find in hilarious that they see Chase Daniel as a legitimate backup for an injury prone QB

While the Chiefs will be much improved, and might even finish 2nd - they wont come close to sniffing the division.

I think 9-7 is possible for them this year though.

kc will win maybe 4 games. I still don't understand why Reid got Alex Smith to be his QB. Smith is a game manager, a dink and dunker. Reid likes to air it out. McNabb had the strongest arm in the NFL and Reid used it. Alex Smith's game does not match Reid's system so unless Reid is going to change something, I just don't see how these two are going to get along.

Then the whole running game thing. Yes, Jamaal Charles is a beast but Reid is notorius for not running the ball. So, again, how is this going to be good for Charles? The only player who might have a big season is Dwayne Bowe, if Alex Smith can get him the ball.

As for kc's defense, who knows? It's a big mystery as of right now. Are they a base 3-4 or a what? I don't recall anything discussed on this issue.

Chiefs will definitely be better than last year. They might even get to 10-6, but 8-8, 7-9 is more likely. And Reid has a lot of different new parts to try to gel an offense and defense around. New QB, New defensive players, new scheme all around. I will take time to gel. They almost definitely will finish second in the division, and should Manning go down, or we get a lot of significant injuries, maybe first...but only if the Broncos injury problems come early and often.

Oakland probably 4th and SD 3rd if Rivers keeps regressing, and McCoy installs his predictable offense. They might battle for last place with Oakland though at 4-5 wins.

Alex Smith equals Elvis Grbac with wheels. Why does it seem 49er QB's go to KC to die? Montana, Bono, Grbac and now Smith.

Alex Smith doesn't really throw the ball much better then Cassal. He's smarter and makes less mistakes though.

I think Cassel is the better passer of the two. He has a stronger arm than Smith as well. Cassell just makes WAAAYYYY too many mistakes.

he's crazy but I still like the guy... On mike and mike the guy is just pure fun to watch. He can be a bit much and over the top at times but certainly not in an annoying way like Steven A.

meh, KC will be a better team, but I don't see them challenging for the division or even a wild card spot.

Lord, the Queefs should be better, can't get much worse than 2-14. But they wont win the division. If this is coming from Hermy I feel even that much better about our chances.

Meh, that really isn't the nature of the NFL. Things change fast.

Chiefs will be better. Win the division? I doubt it. Wouldn't at all bet on it but then again it would not surprise me.

The line between good and bad teams as well as winning and losing in this league is quite thin.
