Welker is the only slot WR in the NFL that Chris Harris can't cover. Harris is going to get even better practicing against Welker.

Those guys are going to have a lot of fun going against each other.

The Offense is loaded with 8 Pro-Bowl players (all 11 play at an extremely high level).

The Defense probably starts the year with 3 Pro Bowlers. I would be surprised if the first 2 draft picks aren't spent on Defense. DE and Safety are the two deepest positions in the draft. Great job Elway.

I also would not be shocked if one of those DTs drop Denver snags one up. Vickerson is above average, Knighton is not as good as Vickerson yet. Of course he could make a huge jump this year we do not know. Unrein is solid and improving. Throw a first round stud in that mix and let Vickerson, Knighton and Unrein fight for the other position and then you have a great rotation on top of that.

Patriots didn't want Welker, he came back to the Pats to see if they'd match 2 years $12m and we didn't want him.

He drops the ball way more than he used to.

To be fair to NE, they ranked the Amendola signing in the 2nd best category but I think they under-weight his injury issues.

If the pats didnt want him, Amendola would have signed earlier. Instead, they sign him minutes after losing Welker. And its not like they went in a different direction, they signed a more brittle version of wes.

As much as i hate the Patriots, i hate the "they are 0-2 since spygate" argument more.

You'd have a point if they went 2-14 after they got caught, but referencing two more super bowls, both games they easily could have won, as some kind of proof that the spygate scandal had anything to do with their success is just dumb.

Well I am definitely making Manning a keeper in my fantasy league now.

When was the last time a team had 3 WRs who in the previous season combined for 3800 yards? That is right - it has never happened. The 2005 Colts had 3 guys who combined with 3300 yards and 37 TDs and a QB with a huge head in the previous year......
