Those are some pretty damn good rocks then... Watch his tape he makes some great catches... with his hands!

The best thing about him is his speed, and his awareness of the field and players around him trying to tackle him. I would be ecstatic if the Broncos got him.

SWOPE!!!

I don't have a problem with Te'o as a player. I think he will be a solid run-stopping MLB or a great 3-4 ILB. I do have a problem with the idea of spending a 1st rounder on him though because I just don't see the pass coverage skills needed to be a 3-down Mike in today's NFL.

For Simon? Late 3rd is when he should start to come into play.

I'm not sure he would get past the Vikings though or a surprise team that nobody thought of.

If past history is any indicator, a couple of the guys on this list could become Broncos.

Please post any updates! (thanks Lycan)
Only 2 LBers. I think this says a lot about what the Broncos think of Irving and the other LBers currently on the roster.

i think it says more about the fit they believe the players are and the overall lack of talent at MLB in terms of high round selection potential.

we also have only worked out/visited with two RB's officially and if that speaks about the confidence they have in the RB's then something is wrong.
no Lacy, No Bernard, no Ellington, no Gillislee, no Randle,Ball,Franklin,Davis or Taylor.

our visit list seems a bit small and almost like we're trying to hide certain intentions or maybe we were focused on FA for a bit and are now getting back to prepping fully for the draft.
we've visited more WR's than LB's or RB's. granted some were before Welker.

fair enough. IMHO there's really no pattern as to who the Broncos bring in for a work out. If you look at who they brought in last year and who they ended up drafting there's not a whole lot of proof that just because the Broncos spend more time with a draft pick they will draft him.

i didn't say there was. hence the whole thing about them seemingly not being visible about who they wanted.

Christine Michael (RB) coming for a visit on Wednesday. Jamar Taylor (CB) has also worked out with the Broncos.

They are looking at all the fallback RB options in the event Lacy blows the doors off his Pro Day coming up.

Michael is interesting because he is a John Fox RB prototype. I think we all could have predicted that one was going to happen.

I'm also expecting John Jenkins at some point. We've spent time with all the other massive DTs.

Broncos
While discussing the prospects of Nebraska RB Rex Burkhead, Jeff Legwold says the Broncos are looking for a back in the 225-230 lb. range.

Eddy Lacy and Le'Veon Bell fit that mold. Lattimore and Christine Michael are just right outside of that range.

Makes sense. Get a big back and offset 5-10 carries with Hillman. I think Le'Veon Bell and Hillman could be a very good thunder and lightning combination.

Hillman is the only thing that gives me pause in thinking our #1 target is Lacy. Lacy is a complete RB that is basically a 300+ carry back, that would render Hillman almost obsolete.

If the team thinks Hillman is a large piece to the future, it would make more sense to go with a Christine Michael type in the mid rounds. Someone thats more fitting to split a workload with Hillman.

6'1 201 pounds. Pretty clear what they want to do with CB's.

Not happening MUG. GB will pick Lacy. Even if they don't, the Broncos have much bigger needs on Defense.

I am not sure throwing a 1st round pick at a guy who comes with a very real and tangible risk of folding like a piece of origami is the way to go.
what if Broncos traded into top of 2nd like they did with Wolfe and still got him? Then you would be ok with it?

Hillman on one carry was one on one with tons of field and only one defender to beat for a long td run and he couldnt do it. His move looked like he has arthritis in those knees lol. He has 0 wiggle and without it speed means nothing unless you are 230 pounds. he's too small and hasn't the wiggle to make an impact great enough for the Broncos to think RB is solved. We have huge ? at RB. IMO its the only spot on offense I am worried about. Mcgahee long in the tooth and injured. Moreno can't stay on the field and Hillman has the moves of a back 4 times his size lol. Seriously that dude needs to take some dancing lessons or something.

I think they're looking at him as a free safety -- here's his pro day numbers:

http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...2013&genpos=FS

Given his size and strength, I'm guessing they're trying to find defensive backs who can cover the tight end. Good.
