I still want Stepfan Taylor out of Stanford, but he will be long gone when the Broncos draft in the second round. I believe you don't draft running backs in the 1st round, always go defense.
Stepfan Taylor lost a lot of money at the combine, a 4.76 is god awful

Well that could be good news for the Broncos, I for one don't put a lot of stock in how a player does at the combine. I look at a players college career and if that translates to the NFL.

Terrell Davis had a similar 40 time. Not to say Taylor will ever be that good, but it really does illustrate that there is a big difference between football speed and track speed. Terrell Davis was rather fast on the football field. Just look at all the big runs he broke off regularly. Then again Moreno ran a rather mediocre 40 and his football speed turned out to match it completely.

I would rather draft RB's in the mid rounds at the earliest than keep signing vets who can't stay healthy.

I think at the right price....he could be a nice addition with our coaching staff.

I'm all for it.
Not true at all. Let me fix that for you. When there is a good amount of open space or running lanes, he looks fantastic. He's not that impressive when things get tight. He's 225 lbs but not terribly physical for that size, I think his fumbling issues are a result of that very thing. I said it before, I think he's a beefed up track star and isn't really all that nifty on his feet. He'll blaze past guys when there's room. When there's no room, he'll look just like Tatum Bell did. Lost.

That's because TD did most if his running in the direction of the endzone. You tend to get somewhere faster when you pretty much run towards it..........hahaha.

TD - what a stud.

I believe Davis ran a 4.6. A lot of difference there.
