I thought I was the only one disappointed with our TEs.. Tamme and Dreesen have literally no ability after the catch.. We need to get more explosive underneath..

I think the plan was for Green to take over for Dreesen and JT for Tamme in two years when their contracts expire.. Look for them to add a pass catching TE in the draft if they don't believe in JT.

I think the plan was for Julius Thomas to take over the starting role eventually, but Green leapfrogged him on the depth chart last year. I agree that Dreessen and Tamme lack the athleticism of today's elite TEs. How difficult is it for new TEs to make the transition to Manning's o though?

Vic Lombardi reckons Broncos will make early splashes (plural) in free agency.

Looks like they are going with the veteran CB approach vs. acquiring one through the draft.

I agree, but very few TEs do, and they're both extremely sure handed and Tamme's got a knack for getting open.

Frankly, I really like our TE tandem.

I doubt they do both. They may pick a late round CB or UDFA they can stash on the PS, but I don't see invest in high pick if they pick a CB in FA.

for the amount of money he's likely going to command, I agree w/ you. Rather see a younger guy come in. I doubt Rhodes or Trufant is there at 28 (Milliner will be long gone too), but there are some good options toward the top of this year's draft at CB

I think this happens. Wallace said he wants to go to a warm weather city. Add in the Florida taxless factor and its a no brainer.

If they can land him and Gibson they are going to have a pretty solid WR core. That makes the Pats lack of secondary become a bigger issue.

Well for a rookie it would take some time..majority of the time would be accounting for the transition to the NFL level and the play book. My fingers are crossed with Green and JT making a bigger impact this season.

Frankly, I really like our TE tandem.

Hopefully Green and JT take big steps forward and can be put in the mix. I thought Green looked promising in his limited action. A more explosive Dreesen. And obviously JT is your pass catcher like Tamme but with better athleticism.

I liked the production and reliability Denver got from their tight ends last season.

Denver got 98 receptions for 974 yards and 7 TDs from their tight ends last season.

Green and Thomas have the chance to develop and learn and I'm hoping one of them develops into a solid player.
