Terry Hawthorne shows nice physical coverage skills, with a good blend of size and speed and even ball skills.. I'm not sure why it's a bad pick?

I have PMed and emailed 24champ. We're still ahead of our normal pace!

I was thinking hard about taking Bernard because of the value, but decided that fixing the O-line was more important with Chris Johnson already there. And I wasn't sure that Winters would've lasted to my next pick.
Still, that's some great value at this point in the draft, to snag what many people call the #1 RB in the draft. |

I wanted him, but I like that Montee gets to stay in Wisconsin

Maybe it was the change in defensive scheme that hurt a lot of the Illinois players this year, but Hawthorne did absolutely awful against Ohio State, Louisiana Tech and Northwestern. Everyone is high on his combine, when he and the whole team (2-10) played like dog**** this year.

I had a feeling that the Packers were in the hunt for an RB, which is why I traded up with Mediator. I don't know if they liked Bernard more, but Ball is good value for them at this point in time. Anyone know why no RB coach came to work him out at his Pro Day?

Odds are they got a good enough look at him during one of his 10,000 college touches.

Anyone have 24's cell number? I'd love to get more than two picks in this weekend.

Sorry Bmore I missed the opportunity to argue with you about Swope. Lol I can't wait for him to prove you wrong though. Intermediate routes with speed and quickness isn't a bad combination, I think Mr. Welker would vouch for that.
His hands are better than you give him credit for. Glad you got your guy too man! |

I think Swope is Welker esque.. Welker doesn't have spectacular hands either, but his are better than Swoopes'. I would call Swoope a poor mans Welker, with slightly better break away speed. |

I think I got 24's #. Let me check. I sent him a FB message. He and I were talking last night on there about how I need to go to camp drunk and run on the field.

Guy walks into the Music City Hall Bar
"What's a guy gotta do to make a pick round here?" "Wait a fortnight" replied Goodell behind the bar. |
