Grimes Bailey and Harris would be a sick trio

Cason might be the better and safer option though

I think this means we are focusing on other positions for the draft

They aren't going to sit back with the extra money. They need someone who can stretch the field, Wallace could certainly do that for them.

I think CB should still be important in the draft. To ignore a good deep talented group would not be very smart

That's when you address it with a mid to later round prospect..

Yeah, if Goldson finds a reasonable deal, he'll walk back to SF with it and they'll pay it to him.

Small school or not, he probably isnt going to last until the midrounds.

Here's the stud in action set to some porno music:

I disagree. Welker is a possession WR who isn't going to stretch the d vertically. The Pats have 2 TEs that can do that--Hernandez is a fine slot WR too. They don't have a vertical threat though. Wallace is one of the elite vertical guys in the league and he's in his prime. Welker is a very good possession slot WR, but he's aging and the Pats have guys who can stretch the d horizontally. Wallace and Welker are apples and oranges at this point.

Spot on. The Pats need a WR who can stretch the field. Welker didn't come alive until the injuries to Hernandez/Gronkowski. I can see Welker wearing a different uniform if someone pays him. If not, he'll go back for a lot less money.

There's going to be a bidding war for Wallace. Dolphins really want him.

Rotoworld says the broncos are trying to work on re-signing Burton and Vickerson. Which is pretty sweet because Burton is great on special teams and Vickerson is a pretty solid DT for us.

I would like to see Vickerson and Hill/Knighton side by side.. Vickerson and Hill have a similar skill set in that they are both big bodied, pocket disruptive, run stuffers.

We can draft a NT (Brandon Williams) to back up Hill/Knighton and you have Unrein to back up Vickerson. A weakness becomes a strength..relatively cheap too!

Yeah Hill or Knighton will be awesome next to Big Vick! That is what I'm hoping for!

Scoop Alford up at #58.

As far as Mike Wallace goes, he would be stupid to go to the Patriots considering Bellichick has pretty much ruined (or tried to ruin) the career of every veteran receiver FA who has gone through there. Just like he tried to do early this year with Welker.

The Broncos could afford to sign either Cason or Grimes ($4M) and Knighton or Hill ($2.5M).

The Broncos could use the money from a Dumervil restructure to sign Adrian Wilson ($3M), then we're good to go until the draft.

Sign me up for the plan, but Cason can be improved upon. I'd rather have Quin than Wilson, but he will be more $$. Wilson's age concerns me.

Wilson was taken out last year in Nickel situations. No thanks.

Good point. Forgot Glover wasn't tagged, it seemed like such an obvious move.

Cribbs was awesome when Mangini coached the Browns. But they sort of designed a wildcat attack around him. I think some team will find him very useful. For Broncos though i think we should look for a more traditional attack. We don't need gimicks we have manning and 2 really big WR. Broncos should continue to look for size and speed at TE and WR, RB and the offense will be deadly. Cribbs IMO a better fit elsewhere but he is an explosive player. Holliday probably is a good comparison so no reason to sign Cribbs.

I still think our TE mostly did well because we have Manning and DT and Decker outside. If though we added a true stud TE that could beat safetys deep it would really put pressure on a teams back end. Most likely though not a big enough need to worry about this yr.
