Thanks Rev you saved the thread for Matty..

He used to be a shutdown Safety, and I think playing for a contender would put some spring back in those old legs..

Atari Bigby was just released, I always liked his game, but he couldn't stay healthy..
Dwan Landry was cut.. There are a plathora of FA safeties.

Well.. He would like to stay on the West Coast and play for a contender... Not many options..Edpecially given San Fran and Seattle have good SS.

Age is a big concern. We already have an aging DB that looked awful against baltimore. Why add another one, especially at a different position? There would be times where 2 of the 4 guys in the back would be quite old.

Now if it was Adrian and Rahim on the field at the same time, I would be all for that. I am still a Rahim Moore fan even though he cost us the game...

Ellerbe is not strong in coverage...

Wilson plays SS, Moore FS..so of you want Dashon, your giving up on Moore for the time being..

Didn't think of that... I'm still wanting to see Quinton Carter and Rahim Moore out there together though. If that works then we just need depth there. So I'm not sure if I would want to spend the money on any big name safety.
