That probably has more to do with whoever's hosting your stream.

Unless you only have like 3mpbs internet service or something.

I've never watched a game online anywhere and seen it not look "internetish." Never as smooth as TV

No chance DTV lets the sunday ticket exclusive rights contract walk. Its a big part of why they have the subscriber base thy do. Their over internet TV better be amazing and very cheap if they lose Sunday ticket, otherwise they can't compete with bundling. I dont think there are enough non cable reaching towns to keep that company operating at its current state. I love DTV's service but id save 40 a month switching to fios for tv. No sunday ticket on DTV, i switch.

This was the first year in 12 that I did need to get since I moved back to Colorado. Out of those dozen years, I think I paid for about 6 times, and full price maybe 3. As discussed on here many times, just call and tell them you were going to disconnect because you could no longer afford NFLST, and it was the only reason you had DTV, they would give it to you free plus HBO or Showtime. In, addition they have been packaging it free for new subscribers. I venture to say that DTV has used NFLST to grow and keep their customer base, and cared less about the profits. Sounds like they maybe moving the business model, in addition to starting negotiations early. Furthermore, DTV probably has scene how Dish has played hard ball lately (AMC battle) and got concessions, and now they are filling emboldened.
