You can cast aspersions all you want, but there's maybe no single demographic factor that chains someone to poverty more than being a member of a single parent household. Ignoring it and flipping the race card might be convenient if you want to play the politics game.

But when one group has 3 times as many (per capita) kids growing up with single parents as another group, it's pretty crazy to expect that any wealth divide between the two is going to narrow.

On a personal note, yes, it HAS. Most people pretend to be good looking, wealthy and have a hot wife/gf on the "INTERNETS"....for me it's reality. But I appreciate EVERYDAY my current situation as I have plenty of family and friends who are still struggling day in and day out and I grew up with 3 blocks of section 8 housing literally 200 yards from my casa.... And my success is attributable to BOTH of my parents influences on me as well as a 6 year stint in the USAF; combine that with a constant desire to learn, plan and focus on new challenges and I've been fairly fortunate to have preparation mesh with opportunity. But enough about me...........explain to me why NFL and NBA teams are made up by a disproportionate # of African American males and there is no mention of that by the LEFTISTS..............

Not how it works. I'm certainly prepared to discuss it, since I've saved all my college research papers and just so happened to have done a little looking into the subject. But you raised a question, implied your opinion by attempting to relate demographic information on professional sports teams to general population demographics. But you didn't support your point with any FACTS. Once you do that, we can have this discussion. But until then, you are what you post. And you are an angry, infantile, clueless, scared little boy who is flinging **** at the wall to see what sticks.

So you don't agree that Black males are disproportionately represented in the NBA and NFL relative to Blacks being only 13-14% of the overall population.....interesting. Let's use your line of thinking: So if fortune 500 companies feel as though white males are the best candidates to run their operations, why then is there always the desperate attempt by the LEFTISTS to constantly spew venom towards those companies for "under represented" women and minorities?
