Banks runs a 4.64 on his second attempt. Let the free fall begin.

I'm afraid TJ's style of play is going to bring him nothing but yellow flags in today's NFL. Ten years ago, he would have been a star on Jacked Up.

Amerson is a solid prospect... I said he could be refined..

I really like TJ McDonald at SS, especially getting him in the third round..

The scouts already have a weight room report from their strength and conditioning staff in college. It tells them what kind of dedication they put forth and what attitude they have while working out.

If the report says he lifted 225 12 times last year, and he only lifts 8 in Indy you have to go find out why. However, someone who lifted 12 but hits 22 in Indy you really have to find out if they are pulling a Brian Cushing workout regimen

It's all about getting an accurate assessment of who they really are. That is because most of them are all lying about stuff somewhere. Especially in the combine preparation portion of stuff.
I agree, I even said that.. But technique can be refined and leverage learned, dedication to improving cannot... That's what I was getting at..

I will post them as quickly as I can. Working on a project at work right now that is due by the end of the day, but I got NFLN on in the corner of my screen.

This is such a poor indicator of talent though. You have to look at years of tape not just one game. His junior year tape he played smaller and made more plays. He was one the absolute best at taking on blocks and then making a play. He played much closer to the LOS and had less coverage opportunities.

One thing people do not usually see is that he was a lot better in last years scheme as a mike than this years. Coaches coach to win games, not to develop talent in college. Teo was much better last year playing the traditional Mike, rather than bulking up and playing in this new scheme this year. Plus, he was in position to make plays versus Alabama, he just failed to finish. It's not like he was lost and making mental errors. People have bad single games. However, his body of work over the last 4 seasons speaks volumes to me.

Came away very unimpressed with Matt Elam today. Box safety for me. His feet looked like they were just stuck in the ground throughout the drills.

Rhodes 4.41. That's pretty good.

I'm so amazed they still do the bench press. Such a stupid exercise.

ok, Millner(4.31),Elam(4.46),Rhodes(4.41),Reid(4.53),M athieu(4.43),Taylor(4.37) & Poyer(4.46) really helped their stock today. i wanted Elam before but he's solidified it now.
he's small but he loves to lay the wood and is solid enough in coverage.

i did not expect Millner to run that fast. i figured a 4.53 first run, then a 4.48 2nd.
but 4.31 for his size is crazy.
Shamarko Thomas has been balling out today. 4.38 40 and destroyed it in the weight room.
Desmond Trufant is a perfect fit for out D. competitve as hell. 4.31 speed and physical in man to man.
Vaccaro had a bad start and ran a 4.59

Nice! I said it here a while ago, and i will say it again.
Trufant will be the 1st or 2nd CB taken in this draft.
Rhodes falls to #28 and it a slam dunk pick for DEN.

What about Poyer!?!

Desmond Trufant could have bolted himself into the first round with his 4.31.

Xavier Rhodes with a 4.41 is an excellent time, considering he is 6'1 -- 210 pounds.

Darius Slay also had a great time with a 4.37.

What did Thomas run? NFL.com doesn't have them on the DB tracker.

This second group of CBs are timing much better!
