Unfortunately most of the cool videos have been taken down by the NFL, but there are a few new ones that I thought some people might enjoy. This wasa huge day for the "M & M" combo as Craig Morton hits Haven Moses with two second half TD's to erase a 14-3 halftime deficit.
The second TD is a real cool look from NFL Films that came on 4th and goal, with the game on the line. |

The Broncos fall to 1-1 after a crushing shootout loss to John Brodie's 49ers. The 49ers of the early 70's were a very good team as they lost in the NFC title game 3 years in a row to the Cowboys between 1970 and 1972. |

A brutal loss to the mediocre Bears. The game was famous for two things. This was truly legendary old school cheap shot football game. Kinda like Derrick Thomas in 1998, except it went on like that for MOST of the game. The Bears won the mental battle. Also this game had Abe Gibron miked. The fat slob can be remembered singing "Jeremiah was a bullfrog............." among other things. He also gave the finger to the Denver crowd numerous times. |

After 3 straight games at home to start the season, the Broncos fell to 1-3 with this loss on the road at Kansas City. 16-14 Chiefs |

The Broncos move to 9-1 in their miracle 1977 season with a big win at Arrowhead 14-7.

Love the videos ... especially the 1973 ones when Denver finally started to turn it around.
Also like the Broncos win at Arrow Head with Mike Livingston at QB for the Chiefs. Years ago I was living in Dallas and my neighbor was Pat Livingston, his ex-wife, and their then-21-yr-old son. I started a flag football team at work and for one game I got his son as a ringer to play QB, I thought. Kid was big but didn't much like football, I discovered. So I took over at QB. We lost! |

Those were the days when we would throw a brick through a TV set when they showed Howard Cosell's face.
