Blacks Point Out Obvious to Obama - Amnesty Means Fewer Jobs, Lower Wages

If Barack Obama gets his wish for an illegal alien amnesty, he will have set African-American causes back further than any president in recent memory. During a period when black unemployment is brutally high, either legal residency or a full blown amnesty that includes citizenship would authorize an additional 11 million workers to compete with blacks for scarce jobs.

The Census Bureau's American Community Survey's latest data found the following U-6 unemployment statistics for U.S.-born blacks: young adults 18-29 with a high school diploma, 41.8 percent; high school drop outs age 18-65, 61.0 percent and teens age 16-17, 53.6 percent. The federal government's U-6 unemployment rate includes not only people actively looking for employment who cannot find any kind of job but also counts "discouraged workers" who stopped looking and those who want a full-time job but have been forced to settle for a part-time position.

Obama's apparent disregard for blacks' plights dates back to his administration's first days and continues today. In 2009 Obama supporter Danny Glover charged the president with not doing enough for blacks. Obama retaliated on the American Urban Radio Networks that he cannot pass legislation that favors one demographic over another but could pass "laws that help all people especially those who are most vulnerable and most in need."

But the fact that passing amnesty would devastate blacks as well as other unemployed Hispanics and poor Americans is beyond argument. Anyone who can do simple math can figure out that adding 11 million potential workers seriously hurts the job chances of the 20 million unemployed or under-employed Americans.

Oh yeah! Whats happening is as the govt through taxes forces people onto public transportation, bikes, electric cars they will lose revenue from gas tax.

So what they will do is raise the tax on gas, tax electricity more, raise registrtation for cars, raise bus prices.

It's funny how liberals just love this stuff. They tax us to use green, then they will tax the green baby. Is there anything the liberals don't want to raise tax on? just wondering.

Do pundits and politicians learn to be highly skeptical of the news source and, if it doesn’t clean itself up, eventually shun it — or do they continue to cite it as if it’s totally legitimate? The answers to date suggest that the GOP is perfectly happy to welcome into the tent an organization that is happy to fabricate “news” that supports conservative story lines.

Most of the stories carried by cowboy byte are not based on brietbart. In fact just a few months ago one of your comrades lauded brietbart for their evenness in the reporting of events.

Here’s the 3 by 5 index card version of what the GOP’s message on sequestration ought to be:

• Our current level of spending is unsustainable. Spending must go down. Period.
  
• This is a 2 percent cut.

Sure, if we in the Republican Party had complete control of the government, we would be implementing the cuts differently. But we don’t.

Congress can only appropriate funds; it doesn’t run the departments and agencies that spend the money. That’s the power and responsibility of the executive branch.

If the Obama administration’s response to a 2 percent cut is really to let all the criminals out of the jails and end food safety inspections, then it is no longer disputable that he’s a Stuttering Cluster-you-know-what of a Miserable Failure.

I’m not exaggerating on Obama’s doomsday talk:

President Obama on Tuesday painted a dire picture of federal government operations across the United States should automatic budget cuts hit on March 1: F.B.I. agents furloughed, criminals released, flights delayed, teachers and police officers laid off and parents frantic to find a place for children locked out of day care centers.

“Federal prosecutors will have to close cases and let criminals go,” Mr. Obama said, flanked by law enforcement officers at the White House. “Tens of thousands of parents will have to scramble to find child care for their kids.”

While the effects may ultimately be significant, many are unlikely to be felt immediately, officials said Tuesday after the president’s remarks. Rather, they will ripple gradually across the federal government as agencies come to grips in the months ahead with across-the-board cuts to all their programs.

…But officials conceded that day care centers are almost certainly not going to be padlocked on March 1. Border patrols will be staffed throughout that day and the days to come. Federal agents will continue to conduct investigations, and criminals will not immediately be “let go,” as Mr. Obama suggested.

what the FLL forget is this was this morons idea back in the fall.. so congress went along.. back on NOV 21 he made a speech about vetoing any idea that had spending cuts in it..

now that this morons idea is coming to fruition he is squealing like a pig that is about to get relieved of his gonads..
