Time to have some fun. I'll get things started off here. Post a unique carving. The more unique the carving the better. The more unique the material is even better. So don't throw up a swan carved in ice. That's too generic if you know what I mean.

I've never really understood the appeal of bacon. I mean, it's a tiny 1/4 inch wide strip of meat and the rest is complete fat. You might as well just cover that turkey with a nice half inch layer of lard and sprinkle some bacon bits on top, it's the same thing, lol.

I always love how they manage to show almost every bit of meat in the package through the front plastic. Then you open it and you're like, for real. It's like 20% meat and 80% fat. It sure does taste great but I'm not willing, on a regular basis, to scarf down all that fat for the taste. Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage is the way to go. Taste's great and like 1/3 of the fat calories as bacon.

I'm at work and can't link the photo. Bacon is so versatile! Probably NSFW, and not a carving. Sorry. Not meaning to threadjack. |

Cook bacon in the oven. No grease popping. No grease fire potential. No stinking up of the house.

Just because. Trust me on this. Eating Spotted Owl or Bald Eagle taste much better after you killed it instead of it being handed to you on a plate. |
