This means absolutely nothing, last year we had the 2nd hardest schedule going into the season and still wound up 13-3 playing only a handful of games against teams who went .500 or better.

Yeah this means nothing. In fact almost all the bad teams get at least few games better, and many of the good teams will get worse at least a few games and some will suck (not ruling us out.) So this means nothing. These arguments about schedule difficulty don't mean anything.

They are the best team in the worst division. That alone will make their schedule look pretty easy.

I wouldn't say it means nothing. I'd say it doesn't mean very much.

We played cupcakes, during the last half of the season. One COULD make an argument that made us ill-prepared for the postseason...

1 win against a team switching OC's banged up players that missed the game. 0-4 against playoff teams We aren't ready for primetime yet. It made our stars think they could go MIA and still win. Last edited by NFLBRONCO; 02-07-2013 at 11:24 PM.. |

And we didn't just beat twelve "cupcakes," we annihilated them. And yes, the difference is important And we were a diff team than we were in week 5 |

What about the 1-4 aganst playoff teams that difference is important too. I don't buy we would have beaten HOU or NE either.

We had a great season props but, our stars took a dump in moneytime no other excuse needed. My only hope they learn from it and come firing next year.

If Baltimore had blown us out, you might have a point. But it was a fluke win during a game we did a lot wrong. (And the refs didn't help.). **** happens! And it happened to us. We were just as good as any of those teams and if we replayed that Balt game, id still bet Denver to win |

I think you are leaving off Cincy. 2-3 against playoff teams in the regular season. And, yes, we would have beaten Houston. They peaked about week ten and were a pretty mediocre team come playoff time. New England would have been a coin flip. And I'm getting sick of folks glossing over the fact the the refs jobbed us against Baltimore. Don't give me any "we should have overcome that" cliched crap. Baltimore's players get paid, too, and they were bound to make plays with the refs handing crap to them the whole game.

If you haven't figured it out yet someday you will. There is a lot of luck that goes into Superbowl winning teams. Ravens were 2 plays away from missing playoffs. Denver brought C- game and still should of won.

http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=104953 There's some good reading in there. Some had it about right. Others were way off (Cutthemdown said we'd be lucky to get nine wins). |
