I'd actually like to learn about how the investigation has proceeded (they can't divulge this right now). When identifying something as suspicious I'm assuming you look at payments then trace them to individuals then spread through that individuals games / network.

This was almost entirely contained to very low level games in low level leagues (as as I understand it). It'd be like a big fixing scandal in the East Coast Hockey League. Who really cares? I mean you need to identify the cheaters and prosecute them or at least ban them from the game...that's important.

Still hardly relevant to the premier level soccer that most fans watch.

*edit: Seems like there may have been a Champions league qualifier involved, which would be a bit more serious. While Liverpool was in the game, it was the opponents (Debrecen) goal-keeper being (allegedly) paid. So it's still lower level teams affected.
