I don't know, but I think I was the first here to bring up Smith.
Richard Seymour (Raiders) is in a similar situation. There are parallels: DE, division rival, probably something in the tank for a year or two. Likely to sign with a contender. As I said before, I wouldn't be shocked to see the Broncos bring him in for a looksee. But the difference this year is that DE probably isn't the biggest need of the defense. Defensive Tackle, Inside LB and Safety all look like bigger issues, especially ILB. |

I dropped a Neil Smith reference in the Steven Jackson thread, so there's my pick.

Knee surgeries are incredible these days, so a low mileage RB could definitely take us back to the glory days.
Take off the suit Terrell, it's time to see #30 give the mile high salute again... |

I think that Niko Koutouvides might be ready for some team to give him a shot at starting.

He needs is own thread. I'd be very interested what most around here think we should do with him. When healthy, you can hardly block the guy. But he hasn't played a game in what, 3 years? Are his injuries just fluke type things or is this guy the definition of injury prone. All players get injured, his just happened to be season ending injuries. If you have a healthy Warren in the middle, you have a lagit top 10 DT. But do the Broncos roll the dice just one more time with him. Will be interesting.
