IIRC the current congress learned that trick form the dumocratic ons in the past that refused to hold hearings or approve of Bushes nominees.

I think it would be a massive reach to charge an ex president on war crimes. He simply just should have been impeached. If they can impeach Clinton for getting a BJ, they sure as heck could have impeached W for faking documents to start a war.
