Taco isn't it about time to life ban this arse wipe?!? He contributes zero to the discussion and is solely here, as on all the boards he infests, to thump his 'Tebow is Lord God Almighty' spiel and cause as much disruption and controversy as he can.
That is his sole purpose. I'm all for freedom of speech, but freedom to spew constant nonsense with ZERO redeeming value on such a board should have some limit ... somewhere don't we all think? It was mildly entertaining in homeopathic doses last season, in the way that watching a train wreck in a fictional movie can be entertaining, but he has long ago outlived his shelf-life and welcome here, obviously. Don't worry about McGruder, he will pop up on several other boards over night to feed the relentless beast that is his alter ego as Tebow's masked crusader! Its off-season mode, either ban him or everyone else here should put him the ignore list en-mass. |

MacGruder, you remind me of that character Captain Aarfy Aardvark in the novel Catch 22.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Aardvark "Captain "Aarfy" Aardvark is a fictional character in the novel Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. Aarfy is the navigator in Yossarian's B-25, noted for being oblivious to incoming flak, getting lost on missions, and his omnipresent pipe [Tebow]." I saw the same exact thing happen with Dirk Nowitzki... Avery Johnson had been made Dirk's head coach and at that time everyone said Dirk couldn't win a championship... Avery tried to force dirk to be a post player and threw him under the bus too... Avery got all the credit for the teams success Dirk got all the blame.. eventually Aveyr got fired... Dirk won a championshop,... then Avery got another job and was fired too. In both cases Elway and Avery couldn't adapt to the player who played unlike anything they were accustomed to. They didn't know how to develop them either. Dirk was a 1 seed and lost to an 8 seed under Avery... Avery blamed him just like the Broncos blamed Tebow.. Both Dirk and Tebow revolutionized their positions and in both cases they said they couldn't be successful. Last edited by MacGruder; 01-24-2013 at 04:05 PM.. |

Look at Luck's FG% and INTs... his INTs showed he played WORSE than Tebow... Tebow WON his first playoff game too...
And Luck played 4 years in a pro style offense against soft Ds... he should have been prepared... His dad was a NFL QB too.. Had a pro QB as a coach too.. |

The Spurs happened. That's why Dirk didnt win championships. Good thing Manu fouled Dirk at the end of game 7. |

Duh. If you don't like a poster put him on ignore and save yourself the aggravation. Duh, jebus. No reason to go on and on about a poster should be banned when the ignore feature is right there, jebus.

Edit: I found this a rather interesting statement by Fox during the Orton/Tebow time: http://www.milehighreport.com/2011/1...orton-john-fox Please note the comments by Fox in the above link: The hard part of the National Football League is that it's hard to master one offense, and when you spend too much (time) trying to master another one, there is not enough time that goes around, particularly with a new staff, a new offense, a new defense, really a new special teams coach as far as coordinators. aaaaannnd here's the kill shot: With the Lockout, there was no way for the Broncos or Tebow to work on the offense. Remember, don't confuse Mike McCoy's return as offensive coordinator with the concept that the Broncos are running the same offense. They aren't. McCoy was running Josh McDaniels' playbook last year, and this year it's a McCoy/Panthers/Fox playbook. It's a new offense that Tebow did not have the opportunity to work on because of the work stoppage. Last edited by Tombstone RJ; 01-24-2013 at 05:28 PM.. |

nobody almost missed out on Steve Young....he spurned the NFL for a then record $40 million contract to play for the upstart USFL. When the USFL was on the verge of folding, he was then selected by the Bucs in the supplemental draft for USFL players.
