I can't shake the feeling we should be playing today for a Championship. Would have been glorious. Sucks.

Niners?
Falcons?
Ravens?
Patriots?

For some reason I am rooting for the Harbaugh bowl even though they are douches. I can't stomach a Patriot Super Bowl.

I feel like we are going to have to get demonstrably better to completely dominate in order to get back to having the same opportunity. How do we do that?

Should we go for Vets on offense? I have seen talk of drafting a speedy slot receiver. What if he is one of those rookies that takes a couple of years to "get it"? We only have a couple of years.

Should we do something like:

Free Agents
Donnie Avery WR
Brandon Moore G (how much do you think he will command?)
Steven Jackson RB (if we have the balls to go all in)

and then go MLB, DT and CB/S In the draft?

I don't have a horse in the race anymore, so I'm not a "fan" of
any team left.

I do think the NFL are "fans" of Flacco, Ryan and (not so much yet) Kaepernick, as they want new stars to put before the public. Brady
is the old "golden boy" and gets a home game, but the public is getting sick of seeing the Patriots every year, and new blood is needed to keep the league intersting.

The schedulers gave Ryan and the Falcons the advantage of having to face a west coast team in the "early" game. Then they gave NE the advantage of a late game, at home, which they have a great record at, but also may want Flacco to be one of the new "golden childs" of the AFC, so it will be interesting to see if the calls in this game are nearly as outrageous as last week. Plus the "aging warrior facing retirement" BS that the media is pumping up Ray "the knife" Lewis, and Ed Reed.

If there are penalty shenanigans today it will be evidence that the games are being manipulated. However, these games will be closely watched, and the league knows it. So it will probably be pretty closely officiated.

If not botched, I'm still mad about the terrible officiating last week in our game, but maybe it was just a horrible game for the officials. Somehow that crew should be penalised for their incompetence, and it would be good to see the league do something. But it will never be announced, even if it happens.

I dont care anymore, if anything .. Since it seems most everyone would hate the Patriots to win another Superbowl.. I say go Patriots !

I hope the Patriots just destroy the Ravens. Hope it's like 52-3. And the nation tunes out at halftime. And the NFL can take their Bill Vinovich and shove it up their ass.

Then I hope the Patriots lose another Super Bowl in heartbreaking fashion.

Loss last week took the wind out of my football sail. I usually love championship sunday and I am not even interested now. I only want Pats to lost. At least last week I had one of my best weeks of hunting ducks and geese so it took my mind off the puke job.

Actually..We were lucky this year not to have any snow/bad weather during regular season.

It just sucks to have bad weather last week..Added to that, we got officials that doesn't know **** about the NFL rules..

Bad weather games are not very common around here. We typically get 40-50 degree weather with small cold snaps thrown in there from time to time.

In fact the average Broncos gameday temperature in December is in the 40s. Thats all time.

Last week was the coldest Broncos home playoff game in franchise history. Sucks that it went down like that. This isn't Green Bay or Buffalo. Guess it just wasn't meant to be.
