Marc Trestman & Jay Cutler.
June Jones & Jeff George. Sound similar? |

Guess since it hasn't been posted yet, I'll say it:
Gus Bradley (Seahawks DC) becomes Jacksonville's new HC |

I think Gus Bradley will do a pretty good job, but not sure anyone can be successful in Jax. Kind of like Cleveland South!

Jacksonville has had some decent teams and some good players.
Over the last decade J-Ville has had 6 seasons .500 or above to the Browns who have had just one. And the Browns usually only win 5-6 games. The Jags usually are somewhere around .500 at least. It's just Mularkey is a horrible coach. |

Trestman already moved along DC Rod Marinelli, or it was Marinelli's choice to move along. Trestman is bringing in his coaching staff from Montreal. The Bears ST coach Dave Toub I think went to KC. New GM hired last year, Phil Emery, new HC this year Trestman, new ST coach, new DC, new OC, new OL coach, new RB coach.
Marinelli should get a job pretty fast. Mike Tice? who knows. |

Trestman never stayed long at any NFL job he had. Supposedly did well, but never seemed to stick around. Now with CHI it's like Jerry Glanville North, except he doesn't have Warren Moon. Maybe he can make Cutler into a Moon, I guess that's what they're counting on.

I think Cutler has a couple years left on his contract, so who knows? There's some upheaval going on there, and I guess we'll see how Cutler does. He's supposed to be the franchise guy, but he disses everybody they try to bring in to work with him. I think Jeremy Bates is still there, his old pal from Denver, but maybe Cutler wanted Bates as the OC, so he'll disrespect the new guy Kromer. Who knows, it's a soap opera like a lot of NFL teams.

The Arizona Cardinals have hired Bruce Arians as their new head coach, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Gabbert was a bad pick at the spot he was taken.
but the talent on that team is horrible outside of MJD & Lewis, Blackmon is showing flashes but not consistent yet(which is normal for a 1st year WR). Mularkey is a horrible HC, good OC but after the Buffalo disaster he should never have again been a HC. |

Jeremy Bates out in Chicago. Cutler will probably have his dad dropping off his playbook any day now...

I liked the hiring of Rob Chudzinski as head coach, as well as Norv Turner as offensive coordinator....but Mike Lombardi is a douchebag.

This comment on PFT was funny:
trollhammer20 says: Jan 18, 2013 9:13 AM Memo to Browns new owner: When you tell fans it’s your goal to bring a Lombardi to Cleveland, this isn’t what they were expecting. |
