I'm including a Poll. Just want to gauge the opinions. Can be merged with the other thread if possible.

I understood the call for a run, because it would keep the clock running even if the play failed to pick up the first down. I would have preferred something a little more creative than another dive straight into the line. Those hadn't worked for anything through the entire second half.

I wonder if Hester and Hillman got to feeling like Scooby-snacks after a while?

I agree with this, but only on the condition that if its not wide open, Manning sits on it, rather than force it and get an incomplete pass. They were at a spot on the field where a sack shouldn't make much difference, just gives extra room for Colquitt.

This is my thoughts. Do a play action on 2nd down. If no one is open hit the ground. Not only that, waiting for the play to develop takes at least 5 extra seconds off the clock. We needed ONE more first down and the game was over. With the guys we have I don't see it being that big of a risk. If you're that confidant in the D who cares if it incomplete? Its whatever...we could talk all day about the woulda, shoulda, couldas. It won't change the fact our season is over. Just hope we bring in more pieces to fill holes and have a good solid draft.

After they picked up the 1st 1st down, they knew (or should have) that they only needed one more 1st down to run out the clock. they made the Ravens burn their timeouts. The fact that they ran it 3x in a row with the defense expecting it was terrible coaching. If they didn't want to throw it on 3rd, then they should have threw it on 2nd down. It could have been a high percentage pass...even a kick out pass to DT. But, to not even challenge for a first and a chance to run the clock out...is typcial John Fox.

I bet that if Manning had that whole sequence again...........and I'd bet money he'd find a way to get 7yds.

You play to win the game!!!!

You don't play to try and not lose the game!!!!

But, DT got 3 balls in 5 qter's.....is there any question that the coaches blew this game?

Who the hell on the Ravens at CB were good enough to shut down Denver's biggest play maker? 1 of his 3 catches went for a TD by the way. How about a slant to DT...ala the Pitt game. What a thought!

Go back and watch the int by Manning in Overtime...am I the only one who cussed him out for rolling out to where the pressure was...instead of rolling to the other side...where nobody was there to persue him? Then, I figured it out...he was only looking for one guy and it was stokely. His BFF. When you see that play you'll see he rolled the wrong direction. Then secondly you'll see that Stokely wanted the ball over the defenders head...he even signaled for it...but, it was too late Manning had thrown the ball and it was picked. Had Manning made the same read as Stokely, all he had to do was lob it over the defenders head and stokely was off to the races...for at least 15-20yds.

Erase and make it public. There needs to be I wanted a pass but on first or second down. The run was right call after 2 runs.
