It is our first time in Denver and we are staying at the Double tree on Quebec. I have a rental car but would rather not try and drive all the way into the stadium. Any easier ways to do it?

Go south until you get to Colfax. From Colfax head west, you can either go all the way into the stadium or park downtown and take the train.

Thanks. I have a GPS, was trying to see if maybe the light rail or something else may be a better option

Getting in and out of Mile High is a cake walk with a car if you can stomach paying for parking. Park in lot M and after the game you'll be out of the lot in 5 minutes.

Are you at the double tree in the tech center? If so, DEFINITELY light rail.

Not much in the way of light rail that far east I don't think.
I'm not familiar enough with the bus system to tell you how to get from there to the light rail on it. This might help. http://www3.rtd-denver.com/tripplanner/start.action If it were me I'd drive to lodo and park in a garage or lot as close to union station as you can. Then take the light rail from there. Advantage of using Union is you'll get out of the game 10x faster than all the other riders waiting to go the other direction. Might be busier this time though if we win. Some people might be heading downtown to party after instead of going home. |

You'll wait awhile in line for the train back though. If the northbound line is short when you leave feel free to take it the wrong direction. Hop off at the next stop and then hop the next train going back where you came from and you'll have a seat before everyone else who waited. Or if you're up for it just go to union station and take the mall ride bus from there to hop down 16th for some drinks. ![]() |

Oooo, gotcha. Well, Like Doc said, south to Colfax then straight across, OR, north to I-70, then I-25 south, then you're there. Of course if you go Colfax then you have some more chances to grab supplies on the way!
Whatever you decide, WEAR WARM CLOTHES!!!! It's seriously 0 degrees out right now, gonna be a cold mofo! Double wrap those feet, long underwear, layers, gloves, buy hand warmers at the store if you need to! AND GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!! |

Wheres lot M? I never get out of parking quite that fast. Then again I don't tend to run for the gates at the end of the game either.

Have you checked out the special bus lots they set up? I used to use them from out SouthEast and they worked beautifully. Also fun to ride to and from with a ton of Bronco fans.

First time in Denver and on vacation. Do yourself a favor and pony up the extra money for the best parking close to the stadium. Like an earlier poster said, Sports Authority is a breeze for parking (by stadium standards), if you are willing to pay. Lot M is an excellent suggestion. Have fun!
