Mularkey claimed he was "too busy" to interview, even though he had already interviewed elsewhere. Granted, Elway didn't do himself any favors by forgetting Mularkey's name, but who says they're too busy to interview for an NFL head coaching position? |

Some reason I prefer Rivals. Maybe I shouldn't since Scout has NU at 12 and Rivals has NU at 21. It's funny that both sites flip the amount of 5 stars both Mich and ND have. 3 to 1 vs 1 to 3.

#Steelers took a stronger stand than Urban Meyer ever did. Team announces Chris Rainey has been waived following his arrest in Gainesville
Pittsburgh Steelers waive Chris Rainey after arrest By Gregg Rosenthal Around The League editor Published: Jan. 10, 2013 at 12:55 p.m. Updated: Jan. 10, 2013 at 03:31 p.m. Pittsburgh Steelers running back Chris Rainey was arrested Thursday morning and charged with one count of simple battery (dating violence), the Gainesville, Fla., police department confirmed. The Steelers later announced they have waived Rainey. The police received a call at 8:26 am ET about a verbal altercation between Rainey and his girlfriend that turned physical. Rainey also went to school in Gainesville at the University of Florida. NFL Honors Vote for the top 10 plays of the 2012 season. More ... "Witnesses told officers that Rainey and the victim got into an argument over Rainey's cellphone. The female victim entered the vehicle of Rainey's roommate, and Rainey confronted her on the passenger side of the vehicle, and began pulling her out of the vehicle," the statement read. "Witnesses then observed Rainey slap the victim across the face with an open hand. "Both Rainey and the female victim then fell to the ground. The victim was able to run away, but Rainey chased after her because his cellphone was in a bag the victim was carrying. Rainey grabbed the bag again and they both fell to the ground again. Neither party suffered visible injuries from the encounter. Multiple witnesses confirmed the incident." Rainey denied hitting the victim at the scene of the crime. He remains in custody. "He did admit to some of the altercation. He admitted he grabbed her bag, which caused both of them to fall and he admitted to chasing her. He denied slapping her, but we had several witnesses to that," Gainesville police public information officer Ben Tobias said in a telephone interview. This is not the first arrest for Rainey, who pleaded guilty to to misdemeanor stalking while at Florida. Another Steelers rookie, Alameda Ta'amu was also arrested on 18 charges following a wild, drunk car chase earlier in the season. http://www.google.com/#sclient=table...w=1280&bih=752 Last edited by DBroncos4life; 01-10-2013 at 12:40 PM.. |

Yeah part of me is like pick him up then I saw the stalking charges and soured on that. Steelers have big question marks at RBs going into the draft. Redman is a RFA, Mendehall is a UFA, and Jonathan Dwyer is a RFA as well. I know they have control of two of those guys but I would't be shocked to see them draft Lacy.

The Cleveland Browns have hired Rob Chudzinski as their new coach, a source told ESPN.
Chudzinski has spent the past two seasons as the Carolina Panthers' offensive coordinator. He also served two stints as an assistant with the Browns, the team he rooted for while growing up in Toledo, Ohio. |

I think Rob Chudzinski was a good choice for the Browns.
I know he didn't have the greatest season with Carolina this season, but there were a lot of people that contributed to that. |

It looks like Chudzinski will hire Norv Turner as his offensive coordinator.
Solid move, Norv Turner is similar to Wade Phillips....both very good coordinators when able to concentrate on their respective sides of the ball, but in a little over their heads when asked to run the entire show as a head coach. |
