Meetup before our Playoff Game 1
We have alot of people coming from all over, has anyone committed to a meetup Friday Night or Tailgate Saturday? I'd throw in and help transport if we have a location. |

Peepers, did you move to Colorado? I remember the killer Arizona Tailgate back in 2006. Probably 100 people at that tailgate party. Good luck with this one and planning on rolling out the week after if all goes well.

No, I live in Arizona, but have a house in Colorado also. I couldn't do a tailgate solo, but I could meetup or find a pub the night before just to share a pitcher and hang out.

i'll work on this tonight after work. I fly in kind of late Friday, 10pm, but doing a gameday breakfast and tailgate would be fun, Game starts 1230 I think.

This town is so crazy, and its difficult to find something close to the stadium within walking distance that wont have large crowds or roaches. I was thinking Brooklyns ABSOLUTELY PACKED since its near stadium unless we show at the wee hours of the day. Other option requires RTD or vehicles, but Sams No 3 downtown ( Sam's No. 3 1500 Curtis Street, Denver, CO) for breakfast. I'm sure you can roam the parking lot for an early tailgate as well. But It'd be nice to meet locally with other maners.

Isnt there a good breakfast on Colfax close to the ROck n Roll Ramada? I know one of them has the name Denver in it. Some good eats around there.

Quote:
1. Jack and Grill (Federal and 26th Ave) - famous for the 7lb. Breakfast burrito 2. Sassafrass 26th and Clay (Clay is 2 blocks east of Federal and you can take it straight south to stadium) AWESOME FOOD! AWESOME! Buffalo hash and the fried green tomato Benedict are sweet. 3. La Loma (26th and Alcott, being 4 blocks east of Federal) - good mexican, a little hoity toity for Denver Mexican, but solid food and marge. They do breakfast always before Broncos games. 4. Araujos (25th and Decatur - one block east of Fed) - real simple little place with $1.50 breakfast burritos that are rocking! They have other fair and its clean. 5. Dennys at 17th and Federal - its Dennys. And the ultimate decision by Irish: Go to Mona's on 15th Street and Platte (don't get the Streets and Avenues confused in Denver - Street means its in LoDo or downtown, and 15th Street essentially runs into 29th Ave), after you finish breakfast, probably after 11, walk down to the REI, just down Platte, and catch the Bronco trolley to the game. The Bronco trolley is absolutely awesome! |

So who is actually tailgating and what time you showing up? I just got a ticket and discussing with the crew whether to tailgate and freeze our heinies or hit a bar to pre-game.

I'm down with meeting up at a bar or tailgating. First trip to Denver, would love to hook up with some Maners. We get in Friday at about noon.

I'm gonna throw it out there, I like the idea of taking the broncos trolley from confluence park to the stadium. (Thanks Irish)
Monas 9am -10am, then break for the stadium. 2364 15th Street Denver, CO 80202 (303) 455-4503 Any welcome to join. I'm 6 foot 5 and I will be in an old school Orange Karl Mecklenburg Jersey. I'd love to see some people make it, but there isn't a plan so i'm making one. http://www.monasrestaurant.com/ Text 9 2 8 3 8 0 2 5 0 5 / Peepers If any locals can help make it more efficient, be much appreciated.
