I think the two defenses are pretty even at this point in time. Houston is far better when they are all healthy, but they're missing several key pieces right now. The Ravens are healthier now then the last time we faced them, but I still don't see enough talent to stop our offense. The reason we will win though is because their offense won't be able to stop our defense. Still feels really wierd to type that.

Indy put up 400+ yards, on the road, in the playoffs, with an OC who never called plays prior to that game (not to mention, he didnt know he'd have to till that day.) The only way the ravens win is if Manning is off and we have **** mistakes. If we play our game and they play theirs, we are simply better than them.

I don't disagree, but actually, if we can get Knowshon going again, and I say cut Ray at every opportunity then run right at him, this could be a long day for their defense.

It's really just a glorified practice for us, getting ready for New England.

Really is fun reading that message board. It's funny reading their creative ideas for how they think the Ravens will win. I'll give them this. They got spirit.

This one made me chuckle:
----------------------------- Mr. Irrelevant MVP Members 4,200 posts Gender:Male Location:San Francisco (help me) Posted A minute ago This game is going to be high scoring. Great Defenses aside, it will be. Joe, it's time..... The Broncos main strength on D is the pass rush. Elvis vs McKinne is not hard. If Bryant shows up, than Big Mac Wolfe vs KO. KO, no questions asked Birk vs whoever they got. Birk Yanda and Oher vs Miller is where they win this..... Their secondary is way overrated though. Bailey is on the decline. And not nearly the legend people make him out to be Porter is hurt Moore is a good FS Lenord is solid. Not great Miller is the problem we have to worry about but we match up well with them. Suggs vs Clady: Overrated LT. Has had NO competition whatsoever this season..... The rest of that line is suspect. And if I were a Offense, I would not want to face the stud corps of Ngata Jones Kruger McPhee And Upshaw. All are threats to get to the QB. I would trust the secondary a tad bit more if we had Webb, who would take out Thomas. However, Corey has also been proven to be a steal, and a starter Chykie is a young stud Jimmy needs more playing time Cary vs Decker is the problem Although Williams has stepped it up, he sucks. We need man to man, and then we are set. I would put Jimmy in at that spot. If he can take out Austin for a game, he can sure as hell take out Decker Now comes Peyton vs his two greatest enemies, Reed and Ray. BP oil also comes into the mix. We finally have a healthy D. IF Joe gets protection (that's a big if btw), then we should win this game |

the Broncos are overrated because we haven't played anyone tough in 11weeks. The only good teams we played, we lost to- ignoring the fact that we were still gelling as a team offensively and defensively. We beat them only, and I mean only, because of injuries to D and change of OC(might be partially true, but besides the point). They also believe they have the advantage on the re-match because they make better adjustments as a coaching staff even though the 2nd half of the game proved otherwise. There's more, but you get the idea. The problem with confirmation bias is the letdown. The more you believe the BS, the harder it is to accept the loss. That's when you here calls for everyone on the coaching staff should be immediately fired, Ray should have retired 5 years ago, etc., and they are leaving the board never to return. Sound familiar? |

These fans make me hope that we annihilate them. How could have so much over confidence in a team that ****ty? They had to turn the channel last time.
Its simple really Score points Stop the run We win Flacco isn't good we have Manning if we lose its because we beat ourselves with multiple turnovers not because their "vaunted" ray lewis infused D shut us down or their Jim Caldwell lead offense w/ a sprinkle of Flacco greatness offense tore us up. We stomped them at their house, no way we lose in mile high in our element no ****en way as arrogant as this sounds its true. Im more worried about Moreno, Ball, or Hillman suddenly getting a case of the fumbles or Jim Leonard's "secure hands" muffing a punt, also there is the Holliday factor will we receive gifts? or will it be the curse? As I said earlier, confirmation bias, it's a hell of a drug! Feels so good when everyone tells themselves how great they are, but when reality strikes and proves them wrong, the crash is a *****! |

Homerism is alive and well in Raven land. I remember seeing blithering garbage like that here last January after Denver won the WC game against the Steelers. Tebow and Co. were going to march into Foxboro and spank the Pats. Didn't happen, and won't happen this weekend for the Ravens. They'll be smashing their purple glasses and vomiting up the purple cool aid Saturday night.

I think Flacco just throws the ball up for grabs and hopes that Boldin and Smith come down with it? No?
