Another beat down on Shanahan by a more physical team. They were just outclassed today and I mentioned early on when people were saying skins would blow them out Shanny always starts fast but can rarely keep throttle on.

None of this matters since we are winning it all. And I would hate to seen Shanny as much as I love him get to the SB and get beat by us with Manning , as much as WE lost to Manning when Shanny was here.

Great year tho for the Skins with a lot to build on.

I just know Shanahan teams generally fall short against physical teams. That's just the reality.

Let me preface this by saying MS and his staff did a good job getting the team above 8-8 and to this point.

But now the pressure comes to see how shanahan addresses this in the offseason. It looked like a typical shanny Denver performance. Brilliant first 15 scripted plays, get stumped and don't adjust and defense not getting off in critical 3rd down plays especially 3rd and long.

Now the pressure is on this offseason we will see if shanny learned from past **** ups

I was talking about the score of the game and how the offense has been. Not the injury.

55 yards since the 1st qtr ended. Have not seen the Seattle side of the field since the first. I'd expect more for a great game day coach.

This is the line from that article that stuck with me that I think bodes poorly for Shanny:

"I'm the one that shut him down that day, finally," Andrews said. "I've been a nervous wreck letting him come back as quick as he has. He's doing a lot better this week, but he's still recovering and I'm holding my breath because of it."

a rookie QB busted the hell out of his already busted knee, playing against a top tier defense. coaching only goes so far at that point. they were done.

You would have prevailed if he didn't get reinjured. With Orakpo and Davis back with some more other pieces Washington will be a top 5 team. Shanny has done tremendous work this year getting that division title.....it will only get better from here.

Oh I hear you. We all knew this game was not over even after Was. got up quickly. We all know Shanny teams tend to crap themselves in these positions. I really like Wilson and think he should be ROTY and simply think just because he plays on the west coast and his name is not luck he is going to get screwed.

This is an interesting post. Not sure if intentional or not but it does come across like the Broncos winning the Super Bowl is an after thought to your feelings about the Redskins. I do think that we'd have had a better shot taking them out in a match up then some other NFC teams who are playing more complete ball then the skins. Still it was a good game, but Seattle is the better team right now. The skins will get there next season if that helps ya at all
