High of 23 and snow forecast for next Saturday. This team doesn't have a ton of experience in bad weather. Does it affect the game?

It's a week away, that's like a month in weather forecast time.

TOWARD A MORE SIGNIFICANT TROUGH DROPPING INTO THE WESTERN U.S.
THIS TROUGH IS STILL A LONG WAYS OUT SO OBVIOUSLY QUITE A FEW
SOLUTIONS BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE FORECAST AREA. MAIN GIST OF
THE FORECAST WILL BE COLDER TEMPERATURES AND A CHANCE OF SNOW.
WILL FIRST INTRODUCE THE CHANCE OF SNOW TO THE MOUNTAINS BY
THURSDAY NIGHT AND THEN ACROSS THE PLAINS FRIDAY AS THE ECMWF
SEEMS TO BE MOST PROGRESSIVE WITH THE UPPER TROUGH.

Not good news. It could snow Friday and be done by Saturday.

I'm not sure how many snow games Andrew Luck has played (if it IS Indy), but it can't be very many...

I think we'll be fine in snow or cold weather. We have the #2 ranked defense, which totally helps in these kinds of games. We have a good OL. We have big WR's.

The other team has to play in it also and listen to a million screaming lunatics while trying to execute their offense.

And I may be mistaken but doesn't our field have heaters and drainage or something under it to help melt snow drain the excess water.


EDIT - I thought there was heated soil under the grass at our field. Guess it can melt snow at 1/2 inch per hour. Here's article on more detail.

FWIW, Manning played against us in the snow in 2002 and beat us in OT. First game the we wore the Orange alternates.

I'm retired NWS, worked Denver area weather for many years. Latest computer models are indicating the main threat of snow on Friday, possibly a big storm for Denver with the position of the surface low as shown on the graphic below. Still too early to tell on snow amounts. I could see Saturday as the very cold day after the storm with temps dropping from the teens at kickoff to perhaps single digits after dark. Ironically, it could be similar conditions to what the Broncos faced in the playoff game at New England last January. Brady and Gronk didn't seem to have much trouble with the conditions on that day, nor would I expect Manning & Minnesota boy Decker play to suffer on Saturday.

It looks like a graphical representation of what the kids want in a Sunny Delight commercial. The purple stuff represents the uppity minority.

I predict HOT weather. PFM is already studying game tape of who we will play. Manning knows who will win todays game because he already knows the matchups and the other teams playbooks better than they do. PFM will be so HOT any snow will be melted by every completion and every TD. PFM and his GLOVE ain't scared of no snow.

weather forcasts this far out are pretty meaningless (as others have mentioned). Let's see what the forecast is 24 hours before kickoff.

Last two games i saw him in the snow he beat Chicago 36-7 in soldier field and Tennessee 59-0 in Foxboro. Then there's the tuck rule game. He's formidable in the snow

Represents air pressure. See that light blue area that is centered around the Four Corners? That's the center of the cold front on the forecast model. The optimal position and track for a decent snow storm in Denver. The yellow and orange colors are higher pressure.

My phone forecast has removed their snow prediction for next week instead forecasting cold temperatures... And cola, but no purple stuff or sunny d.

My Weather Channel App says high of 30 with a 20% chance of precipitation.
