PETA has asked the Department of Transportation in Illinois to commemorate the spot where 16 cows lost their life on May 22 in a traffic accident says a report in the Chicago Tribune.

The cows plunged from the back of a tractor trailer when it jackknifed on a bridge on an I-80 highway overpass.

I’m wondering if we could just have a memorial BBQ. I’ll bring the grill.

The mandate would force religious institutions to pay for certain employee contraception and abortion costs even though it would force them to ignore their established teachings. “The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals said in its ruling that the administration must rewrite the mandate to ensure religious institutions have a right to practice what they preach. It was a victory not just for church-based organizations but for all who believe and want to protect all of the rights guaranteed in our Constitution.”

Anyone who thinks Al Gore doesn't like money as much as anyone is a fool. Of course he wants to get in before the taxes go up who wouldn't. I don't fault him for that one bit he is finally making sense to me lol. What I despise if who Gore wants everyone else to live one way to save the Earth, while he gets to live another because he is rich and more important. He came right out and said i spend money on carbon credits to offset my high use of energy. Thats like saying hey poor people ride a bike, use less energy, why? because you can't afford not to.

Funny though how they would not sell to an American because his views ran opposite to Current TV. Al Jazeera though yeah they are perfect for them.

Still just because Al Jazeera foriegn doesn't mean they won't provide some good news. i actually like watching them on cable. Its like any news you take it with a grain of salt considering the bias. But on stories where they have no clear cut reason to be biased you can still get good news.

i wouldn't reccomend my liberal friends watch FOX to get political news, but I think they cover sports and disasters pretty well.

I do a decent job of tuning this unsavory neighbor out until he hits on a note that causes me to do a double take: He claims the GOP never controlled both chambers of Congress during Bush's time in the WH.

"But that's just not true," I protest, my mouth agape. "The repubs controlled both chambers from 2002 to 2006."

"Oh no they didn't!" (He's starting to get agitated now.) "You've obviously been getting your 'information' from the liberal media!"

Nothing I say convinces him to consider the possibility that his facts might not be entirely in order.

How do you respond to this level of ignorance, denial, and/or delusion?
