Glad this thread was made. I was as hard on him as anybody.
Kudos for the call. Glad to be wrong! |

I'm calling it - Broncos win their third superbowl.
Everything that needs to happen is happening. Destiny. I'm going to need new license plates. |

![]() I'll be there on Sat Jan 12th wearing my old bronco stocking cap I bought as a teen in early 70's. I've worn it for all the AFC Championship games in Denver and many playoff games. It's magic didn't work for the 2006 Pittsburgh game but otherwise it's been a good luck charm. Last time I wore it to a game I was going for refreshments and suddenly felt a slap on my shoulder. I turned around to see a guy in his 70's missing a few teeth. "Hey!" he said in a raspy voice as he pointed to a cap just like mine on his head, "I haven't seen another one of these in years!" |

We play the 4/5/6 seed next and then the winner of the 2 seed vs 3/4/5 seed should we win our game. Would be lulz to open vs the Bengals and then play the Colts in the AFC Championship to then face the Vikings in the Super Bowl. |

Hat took a lot of grief over this. I didn't think it was gong to happen and I was thinking the 2 seed was the best we could do. Major props to Hat on this one!

When something improbable happens there's always at least one fringe nutjob who predicted it.

Major props to Hat. At best, I had guessed 10-6. Maybe the Division, likely Wildcard.
This season has surpassed all of my expectations and then some. I'm just enjoying the ride. |

Kudos to HAT -- your wildly unrealistic optimism finally paid off.

Someone finally posted the link to his post and he's absolutely correct. He was poiting out how HFA was only possible with a NE win. That's where he gets credit.

Props, I wanted the 2 seed because I didn't think the 1 was within reach... I guess that makes me an assHAT.
