Because he is in year 3 of a total rebuild and won the division.....and made the big gamble on greatness to go get a franchise QB. He did all this without his top TENor best defender. Give him some props dude.

What I think is the most impressive is that a Shanahan team has come on strong in the END of the season. Dude has turned over a new leaf.

First playoff team since 1943 with a rookie QB and rookie HB. Not too shabby

Congrats RedskinBronco....I know we went at it but I am happy for you. All I wanted was just for you to show shanny some appreciation that's all. You can breathe easy now. Division title and a very bright future for your team.

By the way Denver is also fresh into a total rebuild and Elway has them at 13-3, the #1 seed, and one of the favorites to win it all. Shanty needs to step his game up! ![]() Seriously though, congrats Shanny and Little Shanny. Great win and run. |

Mike Shanahan, HOF coach, has successfully rebuilt a perennial loser in less than 3 years in one of the toughest divisions in football. All with a massive cap penalty and terrible injuries to the defense, incredible job |

Shanny deserves big time credit for this turnaround. Especially the offense is insane with his new Elway/TD type combination (not saying they are as good...yet). **** YEAH!!!!!!! I feel bad for Romo but he just sucks at reading defenses playing with deception. They got him pretty good on that Rob Jackson interception. Let's have another Denver/WSH super bowl ![]() |

Really happy for Shanny and the Redskins. RGIII is a stud. They took a MASH unit into the middle of the season and somehow pulled out a division title. Well done.

I would rather face the seahawks than the 49ers. Different team on the road.
I have full confidence skins will be fine, but we will see what happens. |

I think shanny is going to take advantage of the poor QB draft and flip cousins for a high pick or picks to replenish what he traded in part. They are set for the future.

I loved Haslett's gameplan. Romo crumbles under pressure and chokes into turnovers.

Great day of football.
Denver takes the number one seed, Baby Jay sees his season come to an end and then to top it off Shanahan takes the Redskins to a divisional title and the playoffs. Redskins played some pretty damn good defense out there today too, says a lot that RG3 had a bad day and they were still able to win. Pity the Pats got a bye and that Peterson came up just shy of the record, but all in all a good day. ![]() |
