First off - my apologies for starting another thread like this - but I couldn't find the other one from last week...
![]() Can anyone give me some suggestions on where to watch the Broncos game in L.A./Hollywood on Sunday? We are staying near Sunset Blvd, but we'd be willing to travel a bit if there is a better Broncos bar/hangout spot further away... Thanks all! |

Barney's Beanery is a good place to watch games, but it's a madhouse. Get there early if you want a table. I'm generally watching games on the NFL package at home these days, but Barney's can be fun. I'm sure some of the other LA peeps here can chime in with something more specific.

Actually, Big Wangs was the bar I was thinking of, though the Beanery is a fun place too. (Just smaller.) Wangs will be packed, but much more likely you'll run into a group of Broncos fans there. Get there early.

Big Wangs is cool if you wanna feel like youre in college again. Dillon's isnt too bad (Hollywood and Vine), and yeah, brennans is the broncos bar, but its all the way in the Marina

Been to Big Wang's in hollyweird quite a number of times in the past. Get there early to get a decent table. You can park caddie corner from there, it is a pretty big parking structure. We met BroncoBuff there a few years back and had a great time... Never know who you might run into while there. A lot of TV's and decent food. Just make sure to make fun of all the eagles fans that show up.

Brennans is the best LA area broncos spot but you won't have a problem any of the other places mentioned. So many transplants in LA you will have fans from all teams so basically all are welcomed.

I don't know of any "Broncos" bars. The Parlor on Melrose, two blocks west of La Brea, is pretty cool. Like four different rooms with TVs everywhere. A lot of Ravens fans go there, and they take up a wing, but I wouldn't call it a "Ravens" bar. There's just a lot of Ravens fans who go there. Bears fans too. There have been a few Broncos fans. The Ravens fans usually get pretty loud, so it was funny a couple weeks ago when I didn't hear a peep out of them when the Broncos were kicking the Ravens butts.
http://www.theparlorca.com/gallery Busbys on Wilshire, a few blocks west of La Brea, is cool too. Like three rooms, and a lot of TVs. Hollywood sports bars are kind of interesting, because it is the Hollywood crowd. A lot of really good people and real fans, but there are some folks who are just there to be seen. That's not always a bad thing. Chicks tend to skank up their jersey's a shirts. lol |
