Eric Weddle or Jarius Byrd should have been in instead of Eric Berry.
Justin Houston should have been in over Tamba Hali. Colquitt and Charles deserved to be there. They had great years. |

Maybe the voters figured that voting for too many Broncos was futile because while other players like Welker will be in Hawaii that week, the Broncos will be in N.O. preparing for the Bowl. It's the only thing that explains the snubs.

In years past, yes Gore all the way IMO but from what I see, Hunter seems to spell him quite a bit in the games I watch. I know they aren't star studded on offense and Gore has been Mr. 49er but I really feel like this one was off reputation. It's ok, Alfred Morris is a rookie so it's pretty hard to get in. You really have to impress to get in. Luck didn't even make it. |

Houston is certainly a player, but after the Queefs get hooked up as much as they did, you're the last fan base that should be talking about snubs. Enjoy your Christmas presents.

It's crazy to me that a receiver can have 1300+ yards receiving through 15 games and not get into the Pro Bowl these days.

All DT needs is for one of the other 4 not to make the game...then he's named.
The problem with the Pro Bowl........is it means way too much! How do guys get elected to the HOF? Well, one major thing on their resume is how many Pro Bowls they're selected to. A guy like DT not getting a Pro Bowl nod for his efforts could hurt him down the road. |

It's to fill the gap between the conference championships and the SB. Better ratings ($$$) than playing this in FEB. In JAN, people are still pumped up for football, with the SB just around the corner.
Agree with the opinion though that they should just get rid of this game and make the pro bowl just an award for the players. Keep the skill competitions and the like, but just axe the game. Maybe make something with the players and the fans more interactive to still give people a reason to fly out to Hawaii. But will probably never happen since the NFL won't want to lose the revenue from the game itself. |

so let me understand this. the team with the potential to be a top 2 seed and a playoff bye has the same number of pro bowl players as the worst team in football?

i dont recall ever seeing a full game and i understand its mostly a vacation albeit a sorta working vacation for the players , but wouldnt it make a bit more sense to keep it the way it is and have it after the superbowl . how can playoff, superbowl teams be able to go if they have to get with their coaches and game plan for a game that means something and go to the probowl at the same time
