Cowboys are going to hire Monte Kiffin and blow up the 3-4 D they have been running.

The Cleveland Browns have hired Rob Chudzinski as their new coach, a source told ESPN.

Chudzinski has spent the past two seasons as the Carolina Panthers' offensive coordinator. He also served two stints as an assistant with the Browns, the team he rooted for while growing up in Toledo, Ohio.

I think Rob Chudzinski was a good choice for the Browns.

I know he didn't have the greatest season with Carolina this season, but there were a lot of people that contributed to that.

It looks like Chudzinski will hire Norv Turner as his offensive coordinator.

Solid move, Norv Turner is similar to Wade Phillips....both very good coordinators when able to concentrate on their respective sides of the ball, but in a little over their heads when asked to run the entire show as a head coach.

Weeden should really benefit from Norv Turners offense.

Rob Ryan is the new Rams DC. I'm not a fan of Ryan, but this could be a good move for them.

he wasn't wrong, he wasn't out of work long.
him and Fisher should make a very nice pairing in St Louis.

Do they make the move to a 3-4 now though?

that's what he normally runs but Fisher is a 4-3 guy and the Rams are set up for a 4-3.

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bears ended their search for a new coach early Wednesday morning when they made the decision to bring aboard the Montreal Alouettes' Marc Trestman as the franchise's 14th head coach.

Doesn't Trestman have a coaching relationship with Cutler too?

Chris Mortensen ‏@mortreport

Chip Kelly is the new coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to league sources. No announcement yet.

Whoa. If true, that came out of left field. I thought he'd put the NFL talk to rest, for this season at least. They must have thrown a pile of cash at him.

Dunno, He was an OC for the 9ers and Raiders before going to Canada

He missed out and lost the CFL's Annis Stukus Award. If my name was Annis I would spell it Anus.

I heard on the lightrail that Trestman was a QB coach for Jay Cutty while he was in college, or something along those lines. Can anyone confirm this?

He hasn't had an NFL job since 2004, so unless he was Cutler's private coach or something, then no. Odd hire. I remember him from the late-90s, but he's an anachronism at this point. I mean, he worked with Bernie Kosar and Rich Gannon when he was with Minnesota, for chrissakes. Literally 20 years ago!

NCAA
He entered football coaching at the University of Miami in 1981 as a volunteer coach. In 1983 he was named quarterbacks coach. That year quarterback Bernie Kosar passed for 2,329 yards and Miami won the national championship. The next year Kosar completed 262 passes for 3,642 yards, both school records.
In 2005, he returned to college football as the North Carolina State Wolfpack offensive coordinator, guiding the Wolfpack to a win in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

According to wiki, after leaving the NFL, he was with NC State in 2005-06, then took the CFL job.

I thought Trestman and Cutler were going to be a good match until I read this, and now I think just the opposite could be true:
