That is true, didn't think about that. Probably because I don't care, we got the #2 seed right now. Eat that Pats!

Dierdorf set the theme from the very beginning: The Broncos will deserve no credit for beating the Ravens because of how beat up they are.

I'm probably the only one looking forward to meeting those aholes in our house in the playoffs. I envision Kupe, back in the lineup, and the Broncos Oline just pounding the ball down the field in the fourth, on the ground, with a lead on the scoreboard, and that whiny biatch Brady sniveling on the sidelines and unable to do anything about it, but watch. ![]() |

How many of those announcers are former players that used to play for teams that got burned by the Broncos in some fashion at some point in their career? There could be a deep resentment on a personal level.
![]() In any event, I don't mind too much. I'd rather see Denver stroll into any situation, kick some ass, and walk away with a win without worrying about a bunch of hype and general genital slobering that some of these analysts commit themselves to. |

I think that Dierdorf is simply that bad. I don't think that they were pro-Ravens or anto-Broncos. I just think that the takes were bad.
For instance, when Hillman went down instead of getting run out of bounds Dierdorf says something like "well that isn't exactly running through contact" implying that Hillman was afraid of contact, when the kid was getting down in bounds so the clock wouldn't stop. |

Flacco seems to be done in baltimore. It's all mental with him now and they have turned on him big time

Flacco was hurried 16, 18 times, knocked around 8 times and sacked three times. A lot of the damage came in the first half when guys like Vickerson, Ayers, Doom, Miller were taking turns knocking him around. Their whole offense for 3 quarters was built around getting rid of the ball as quickly as possible to avoid the pass rush and it was only late in the 4th they started targetting the deeper passes. Not much the QB can do when the pocket isn't clean, the run game is cold, and your best WR has a concussion. |

This is a contract year for Flacco, yes? He should not get a top 3 QB contract the way he is playing. If I was in Ozzie's chair, that's the way I'd see it.

It is, they might have to over pay though. I think he is better then any QB in the draft, which isn't saying much.

that would have taken some of the pressure off of him and backed the D up, kinda like when he was leading the drive to end the half. he hit a pass or two and we backed off to prevent a big play and then he screwed it up with the Carter pick six. |

Yeah Dierdorf was bad, and annoying.
Always how bad the Ravens offense was, or how banged up the Ravens D was. Never really much positivity about the Broncos and them actually being that good and playing that well. |

"Elways can only hope" Dickdorf in reference to Elways being the same quality of GM as Ozzie made me and my dog dry heave Monty Python's Idiot Song together. We actually make a great duet.
How sweet to be an Idiot, As harmless as a cloud, Too small to hide the sun, Almost poking fun At the warm but insecure, untidy crowd. How sweet to be an idiot, And dip my brain in joy, Children laughing at my back, With no fear of attack, As much retaliation as a toy. How sweet to be an idiot. How sweet. |

Dan Dierdorf has been a flaming pile of color garbage since the 80's. Micheals and Gifford carried him for years by simply ignoring his suck. It's like he gets stuck on one train of thought and just repeats himself over and over again. He also says Kudos way too much.

Dan Dierdorf was giving the Ravens a rusty trombone all night. He needs to go!

Because the Ravens defense had two offenses that were making their lives hard....the Broncos and their own.Especially when you have more 3 and outs in one game than the league allows.

and having coached Manning for many years has nothing to do with his pro-Broncos takes? sure we are playing very well...but he also knows why and how much of it is due to Manning. Ex-players and coaches have their biases....Dierdorf just isn't a big Broncos fan...big deal. |
