there is no way in hell they sign Bourn. they still have to re-sign Cano and make a viable team after this season that can stay under the luxury tax threshold.
Bourn and Cano would command 90+ mil deals each. no way they get under the tax with a viable WS contending team for 2014. |

Honestly, even if Victor Martinez has a similar year from 2 seasons ago I still think the Angels and Jays will finish with a better record. I hope I'm wrong, I just really like that Jays team now.

Glad to have him off the White Sox....with Ozzie Guillen and A.J. Pierzynski gone, the White Sox are a lot harder to dislike as much as I do.

That's an incredible amount of money for a tier two guy like Swisher. |

A scourge to umpires, goad to his players and a delight to fans, Earl Weaver was among the winningest managers in the history of major-league baseball. In his 17 years as chief helmsman of the Baltimore Orioles, his teams won 1,480 games, four American League championships and the 1970 World Series.
Mr. Weaver died Jan. 18 while on a cruise, the team announced. He was of 82. The cause and other details of his death were not immediately known. |
