This 49ers D is built the same way those Giants defenses are. There is a reason that Brady is 0-2 vs. the giants in the Super Bowl; not a coincidence.
You're kidding yourself if you think the stinker they are leaving out there on the field is all because of the 49ers defense. They can't catch or hold onto the ball tonight.

So is this garbage time stats yet or is that just a Manning thing?

SF are running soft zone prevent defence with 7 minutes left in the 3rd quarter in Gillette Stadium. This is unreal.

Kind of stupid if you ask me. They should just keep doing what they've been doing.

It has something to do with the 3 points but the 49ers have also left points on the board.

Weather has affected both teams. Patriots don't really stink up the joint too often, 49ers defense has them hesitating; just like they hesitate against all real top notch physical defenses.

That's the BIGGER factor IMO.

You can say well they have 10 points some due to weather, but the majority of it is that these types of teams just match up well with the pats.

Didn't even get to a comp til now so didn't see Watt's stats. That performance pretty much sealed the deal.

Agreed. It really is so amazing that NFL coaches keep calling this crap with big leads and let teams back in the game.

Getting that 2nd seed and not having to go to Foxboro would be absolutely huge for us.

9ers should be winning by more. Pats are playing the way they are in large part because of the 9ers D.

Do you have a sneaking suspicion the Texans blow their first game in the division round as well? Honestly I can't shake the feeling that the #2 seed might as well be the #1 seed.

If I had to chose I would rather lose HFA and have a 100% (rested) Manning for the playoffs.

With the way we are playing on both sides of the ball we can beat anyone anywhere with Manning at 100%"

Make up your damn mind. Do you read the **** you post?

If Denver gets the 2 seed then they will play NE in the 2nd round at Denver.

Yeah I see them losing. #2 seed is all I care about.

Even if they don't lose, going to Houston for an AFC title game does not phase me one bit.
