Why are you saying he's hurt? They showed him on the sideline getting a chiropractic adjustment, but he didn't seem hurt or anything. I just think they wanted to give Hillman a look and didn't want to overwork Moreno.

He's really changed my mind about him. It's great to see him running with purpose. Hillman did really well also. Thinking of both with McGahee seems like a really great grouping.

Yeah, that's the happiest pile of crow I've ever eaten. He was a monster between the tackles today.

This. He's had like 70 touches the last two weeks and we didn't need to kill him running into those 9 man boxes there at the end up big.

Cause there was a previous drive where he got up real slow and took himself out after one play.

And Ed was almost standing up .. not crotched down! The kid is an athlete even if not the fastest NFL back, he is playing with real power and determination now and its great to see.
He'll be a Bronco a long while playing like this. |

Exactly. To beat NE or Houston, we need him to run exactly like he did today. It's an interesting story. I think he tried to be speed back (dropping all of that weight doing cross-fit, dancing outside/high pad level etc.) and then he got hurt and never really got out of that mentality. Now he seems to have matured, he's a much better north/south runner, keeps his pad level low and always churns his feet. He's been quite good with quick hitting runs between the tackles. He's like the guy that realized he's not a home run hitter, but will get you a single or a double off of the wall consistently.
