Haili and Houston can pass rush but are liabilities against the run.

Your D allowed Cleveland to blow you out. Your OL is terrible. Charles is good but you don't have a short yardage RB. One avg/below avg TE, Baldwin is terrible, Bowe is gone or they will over pay for him either way he disappears in games and drops too many balls, Did I mention how bad your OL is? DT's are garbage, you need at least 1 good run stopping LB, a 2nd and nickle CB and 1 Safety. Throw in a total FO and coaching staff overhaul and your looking at a 3 -4 year rebuild, maybe 2-3 if done right.

Good luck thinking a HC and QB will turn you in to instant winners.

When that OL was healthy they were very good. Judging them when multiple starters are out for a few weeks isn't the right indicator. They were the 2nd ranked OL at midpoint this year. Branden Albert has only given up 1 sack all year. You think maybe we missed him the last few weeks he was out?

Bowe has said he wants to stay in KC, so I think we'll get a fair deal done. And as for his drops, he has 4. Decker has 7 and Thomas has 8. What does that say for them?

KC is not a 1 year fix like Bob is swaying, but they aren't a complete mess as far as talent on the field. The cup is not bare. I know you find anything to make fun of the Chiefs, but you are reaching here Mr. Broncosteven.

Bowe has been targetted 114 times, and has only 59 catches, sure poor QB play plays into that buy less than 50% of the time he is not coming down with the ball. ESPN's stat site doesn't show drops.

DT has 110 targets and 74 catches, Decker has 98 targets with 64 catches and is close to Bowe's yardage production but smokes him on TD's.

I hope you tag Bowe again and pay him 17Mill or what ever the Franchise number esclates to.

I can't see Bowe not wanting to take a look around the league as a FA after the season is done and see if he can't go to a team that has a chance at a playoff in his lifetime.

BTW you are right, I take any shot I can get to rub the complete suckage in. I saw it shaping up this way last year and all the other trolls (you aren't one) said they were going to win the Division and make noise in the playoffs. Well guess what happened on the way to SB XLVII...

I dunno, i have seen there defense give up some large point totals this year. Im guessing the guys you list above were missing, i dont feel like looking it up.

Lol don't you think Peyton Manning has something to do with DT's success? I mean if you put Bowe in DT's spot this year what are his stats looking like? Keep in mind he had 1,000+ yards and 15 TD's with Cassel. It's okay to admit Bowe is a good #1 caliber WR. He's not a top 5 WR, but he's definitely a guy who is very talented.

Most Chiefs fans thought the team was due for 8 or 9 wins this year. 10 was a "possibility" if Cassel somehow played like he did in 2010, but not many of us thought he would be that good.

Nobody in the NFL thought the Chiefs would have the 1st pick in April. Nobody.

After scrummaging for sloppy seconds QBs not once, but twice, and knowing full well Crennel blows as an HC, there was no doubt in my mind I had chiefs picking top 10, even top 5.

Just cause the chiefs fans didnt think Cassel sucked doesn't mean we all didnt.

+Phenomenal touch down the field, very accurate on deep balls.

+Quick, over the top release.
+Able to throw from multiple arm positions.
-Occasionally rockets a pass at close range through his receivers hands.
-Seemed to struggle throwing in the wind.

Overview:
Geno Smith has been my number one quarterback prospect since the beginning of this season and despite a couple of rocky games against Texas Tech and Kansas State, he is still my guy at the end of the season.

Smith has the size, accuracy and arm strength that is requisite in the NFL, while his pocket presence and athleticism put him in position to be a franchise quarterback at the next level. Dynamic receivers Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey have certainly helped Smith develop, but he has also made them look good with his touch and accuracy.

He isn’t as NFL-ready as Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III were coming out last year, he certainly is a prospect that you can try and build a team around. He took criticism from 2011 (improve touch, play within the offense, add bulk, etc…) and has improved greatly in all areas.

If I’m picking first in the 2013 NFL Draft and need a quarterback – I run up to the podium and turn in the card with the name Geno Smith on it.

-Goes through two reads, hits his third option underneath.
-Looks very comfortable with trash at his feet – strong enough to shrug off some would be tacklers.
-Can tuck and run with the ball – has some elusiveness and speed but it is his last option.

I see you have reached that point in the season where you start talking about all the good things the Chiefs have going. How they only need a new coach, new qb, new gm, wham bam thank you mam and they will be right back to their old solves losing playoffs games again.

Hmmm problem is qb is the hardest thing to hit on and the NFL is due for a bust at the top end any yr now.

Also he's not like rg111 speed or deep ball accuracy. Not saying he won't be good but he might not be franchise saving good.
