Besides if we had to play Houston in Houston that would not be that big of a deal. So I'm routing for Houston to beat NE. |

NE at home is scary, but in Denver not so much. We need the 2 seed imo.

It's nice to be talking about this instead of arguing over who we should take with a top 5 pick.

![]() Sure. The 11-1 Texans are all of a sudden going to lose 3 out of their last 4 games. And then we'd still need NE to lose 1 of their last 3. Get real. Be happy hoping for the #2 seed because #1 just isn't going to happen. |

The easiest path is HFA.
None of this will matter if Denver doesn't win out, but if they do I'm pretty confident that they will be rewarded with #1 seed. You guys are so caught up about how "there is no way" Houston loses 3 of 4 that you don't see that they can't lose 3 until they lose 1. I get that most people have fond memories of Kubiak & bad memories of McD bit I don't really care.....Go Broncos (every week) & go Pats (this week). |

The thing is I don't care if we have to play Houston in Houston.
And I also don't care who we play in New Orleans |

Steelers won't even be in the playoffs. Bengals will be the 6th seed. When Cincy beats them in a few weeks, that will solidify it.
AFC seeds look like this: 1. Houston 2. Denver 3. NE 4. Baltimore 5. Indy 6. Cincy I like Indy to beat Baltimore & NE to eventually pull away from Cincy. Bengals aure underrated this year. That's a tough draw. AJ Green is the best WR in the NFL. Cincy defense is tough, especially up the middle. NE @ Denver, Indy @ Houston for divisional round. By this time, Indy and Houston will have played 3 times in 6 weeks. Throw advantages out of the window at that point. |

I will be happy if Houston wins, and I will be considering the possibilities if they don't. But a Houston win with a win-out by us gives us a bye, and that gives us some time to get healthy, and is also the one scenario that has the fewest variables. |

I'd like to extend a personal bet to HAT. If Houston loses 3 of the next 4 games, I will change my avatar for the remainder of the NFL season and playoffs to say "HAT is a friggen genious". Now if Houston retains the #1 seed, I want HAT's avatar to say "I'm a moron for thinking Denver would be the #1 seed".
Is that a deal? Put your money where your mouth is dude. Let's see how much faith you have now. And if you take the bet, and you don't change your avatar, you agree that the admin can ban you from the site for a month. I'll do the same. |

No need to bet....We already know you're a moron for hoping we come in 2nd in the AFC.
Besides...my whole premise rests on Denver winning out, which I'm not convinced they can. Houston will probably drop 2 of their last 3 though. Go Pats!!! Last edited by HAT; 12-08-2012 at 02:58 PM.. |
