Default Elway Statue?

When it's all said and done, should John Elway have a statue out front of Mile High for everything he's done for this franchise over the last 30 years (and counting)?

Just add him riding on top of one of those Broncos at the entrance.

Approved ...just wait a couple years and we can save on a twofer deal with the statue artist and get bookend statues of The Duke and Peyton each on a Bronco above the score board above the front entrance to the stadium...

Id like to see John and Peyton work out a deal where they go in together for a joint ownership of the Broncos bought from Pat B when he is ready to hang it up .. no doubt after Peyton ... along with Miller-Time ... adds a couple more Lombardi's to the Front office trophy case.

Can you imagine that kind of insider clout in attracting stud FA talent across the league for many years to come with these two ALL World first ballot Hall of Famer's running the whole show!?

Sounds good to me!

He should get one for what he did as a player alone.

If they are going to do one. I'd like it to be Elway rolling out looking downfield.

(Sorry for the crappy pic...I can't find this anywhere online and took this with my cellphone. Have had this old poster for years!)

They can save money by leaving the head on the white bronco and just changing the body

You mean there isn't an Elway statue out there already?

Love the idea of Elway & Manning teaming up to buy the team eventually.

I said no. The stadium itself is a statue to John.

Plus I always found it creepy when statues of sports stars go up. Way too cult of personalityish for me.

No!

I've already made a life sized Elway statue made out of Popsicle sticks, bottle caps & mud imported from the dead sea. I should be the only one to have one... all to myself
